I really like this phone but for me two critical things were overlooked by HTC. First, there is no notes app by default...downloading Note Everything fixed that though. Second, the standard video player does not resume, this is a real problem if you watch a movie and want to continue later. I downloaded MX Player which is much better than the standard anyway. Also the flexibility of the phone tones leaves something to be desired.

Am I blind (mice) or does this not have a slot for a micro sim card? I was given a mini sim and no adapter from the retailer. Are they wrong or am I blind?

I just got this phone. As HTC promised, the new Gingerbread 2.3 update was already on the phone when in the box. The phone runs great, 700+ Ram is very helpful. Same with 1gb internal. + 16gb micro sd card already inside = :D . i wish they had some sought of lens protector tho as i always feel it mite get scratched .. not sure if lens cover is gorrilla glass? And can't really comment on video as my old phone only vga! audio is average, i wouldnt say its bad.. tho agn i cant really judge since i have nothin to compare it 2!

But definately worth recommending! very happy wit it! :D

It looks incredibly brilliant but I was wondering if you could upgrade it to 2.3 and also when will it launch or has it been launched?

All the people complaining about the quality of the camera and video you do all realise these things are called cellphones or mobile phones emphasis on the PHONE part if you want a great camera and video simply buy a Digital Camera!!

what the mince is yoour problem with the name (Incredible S)..
I mean its not a tongue twister or anything and it runs off the tip of your tongue so easily.

It could stand for.... htc Incredible= Sexy, Smartphone, Smashing, Super, Seductive, Silly, Shiny, Sublime, Sauage, Sassy, Snigger, Salmi, Sucker, Shushhh, Slime, Sloppy, Shindigg, Supper, Sock, Satchel, Sofa, or if you want to go out there Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

the list is endless.......

So in total the S can mean anything you want it. HTC 1 GSM 0

God Damn!I'm a little longer to but my new phone, but i have to confess that my real love for a long time is an HTC!
I thought that this phone will be my new phone, even the S-LCD display(because i prefer AMOLED just like best characteristics).
Thankg one more time GSMARENA. You let me wait a little bit more time before to buy my new powerfull phone.

Ive read a few reviews on this phone and also the Desire S. What is amazing is nobody understands the word refresh, these phones are just refreshing the range and doing away some of the complaints that people had with the Desire and the Desire HD thats why they have the S in front of the products. We all know that the Htc Pyramid is coming but it seems that every Tech site dosent understand that.

There are loads of people who live away from tech sites who understand what Dual Core is and don't care they just want a phone that works. And of yet i am still awaiting the purpose of Dual core apart from it goes faster.
