I just bought a galaxy S2 and from the Xperia X10 that i previously used this is in another galaxy period, i have never in my smartphone purchasing life experienced such a powerful device, i am thankful to samsung for up-ing their game and bring on Galaxy S3 that should be a beast...

hi guys.. i'm new with android, i've been an avid nokia fan for the last few years, until recently i suffered much trouble with my n97, i decided to buy sgs2. and so far, as my experience is concern, this phone is amazing, lightning quick, and has so many features. however i'm really really troubled with its LOCK SCREEN, it has very short time interval, it keeps on locking from time to time, and i don't find any tweaks to fix it. and that's very annoying.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME HOW I GET RID OF THIS? will be much appreciated.. thanks in advance

I have SGS II and iPhone 3GS both awesome, but iPhone camera is still better

There's one thing in the review that I'd like to comment on about the display. The green tint present on the Galaxy S I9000 is still there on the Super Amoled Plus unit. While browsing the web, if I tilt the phone a bit, there's a definite greenish tint on the whites. I'm stating 'while browsing' because the screen is whiter at this time and any colour shift can be easily witnessed on the white.
Not that it's a problem, but still worth noting that GSMArena has put it up wrongly

a 2 years old iphone 3gs is still faster than gs2.. i mean it never lags or hangs and i've seen a galaxy s2 lag a couple of times everytime you operate it.. shameful.. such monstrous hardware is put to no good use

For those considering to buy S2. I think this is a very good phone considering the large beautiful screen, the Android OS being customizable (which I really like) combined with the dual core CPU. for me, this is definitely a GOOD BUY and buying this Saturday!!!!

For Iphone 4S, everything is good with this phone too. User-friendly device Id say for everybody. Performance is almost similar to what S2 has (debatable at some point). Anyway, both phones are lovely smartphones and I would buy them both and if only wifey is approved of it. :D

Now back to comparison, GS2 being one of the best smartphones in the market so far running on Android honeycomb (Im excited with ice cream sandwich) and Iphone 4S at its best for its latest IOS5(well of course the best there is for IOS since its their proprietary software ever since and its fast!(tried it and used it for a couple of days with iphone4 so how much more with 4S!) And so, in my own opinion, the only argument here is the OS of the phone depending on your preference. I like S2 because they use Android with its customizable capability unlike Apple IOS which is limited to changing wallpaper and managing apps with folders (no widgets, live wallpapers and other stuff like this which Android can) Though application wise, Google still needs more apps to develop to catch up with the many Apple apps available in their market. But of course, not that much I guess these days cause Im happy with the apps Ive downloaded so far and theyre all free!! thanks to the free websites offering direct app downloads. (Just beware of the Android Market problem with the google login) cause Im one of the them who's problematic on getting apps directly from Android market (both from app and website). But this doesnt stop me from buying another Android phone cause Ive tested downloaded apps from other websites using their direct download links and tested their apps using my little buddy xperia mini pro(latest one).. Anyways!

Its really up to you whether you like a customizable OS but with limited apps available to grab from android market free/paid apps/I can download paid apps for free from many websites in the internet(some may work and some may not) and google still working to expand their apps availability to android users and so need patience on this OR choose the one with a simple UI, user friendly interface by Apple with almost all the apps you need (consider the price too/use free apps or go with the jailbreak version) with Iphone 4 or 4S. Oh consider the the size of the screen too! 3.5 vs 4.3 (i love bigger screens) heck thought xperia mini pro would suffice my needs but I was wrong cause I love the internet and always do browsing. I didnt realize the disadvantage of smaller screens until I had one. but no regrets with this phone because it also rocks and its just the screen size.

Hi Guys, I really need your urgent help.

I am finding it difficult to choose between Galaxy SII and Iphone 4 S, can any body help me in this selection. Any experiences would be welcomed. I am not concerned whether its Apple or Samsung, I am not brand conscious but quality does matter. Thanks :)

If somebody wants light weight phone why choose smartphone...buy a nokia simple phone. I have never heard anybody complaining about iphone which is pretty heavy. But Battery life is defo defo important! Hope Samsung hear our suggestion.

Is it true that there is no quit /exit options in apps of samsung galaxy s2 &have to quit opened apps via task manager only -every time?(my previous samsung omnia pro 7320 (window 6)having same thing)
what`s with HTC sensation?
am using nokia 6630
