I find it amusing that so many blogs highlight that Meego wont stand a chance against IOS' 250,000 apps and Androids x number of apps. I actually find that having too many apps turns off developers as the app market reaches maturity.

Is it possible for N8 users to migrate to MeeGo? Whether N8 can be upgrade from 256Mb ROM or processors by paying Nokia Care?
Still Nokia lacks is customer support. They have lot of bugs with N8 meanwhile they planning to release another.

This is the bigger developers known for apps in the web, iPhone or Android.
Will they develop apps for Meego because "it's good for our face" even without anyone asking like in Android ?
Or will their response is something like "we'll consider it" or "we have open API, let the community do it" (which the community doesn't) or be more frank and say "not interested in such small platform"
Without that, at least for me the promise of more apps through open source is just a pipe dream. Unless Nokia will pay the developers to make the apps and fill the market, which they wont.

> In reply to AKm007 @ 2011-07-16 22:33 from 2TdX - click to readIt's open source, but will the community actually made the wanted applications ?
Maemo also had UNIX, it has QT, and there's still not much official applications made for it.
Average Joe won't be writing their own apps.
Developers just do what they want, when they want.
More famous software developers and websites are not interested in making applications for anything other than for big user base of iPhone and Android.
