Bada 2.0 does have widgets in the main pages lol, the phone just doesn't come pre-installed with them. You'd have to install some and it'll be there .. I have a flashed Wave myself and I thought the same but I was wrong.

everyone of you, who says that bada 2.0 looks like android is WRONG! It looks like sammy's Touch wiz 4.0 and that is not android, it's just a UI. If you want to compare the original android look, check Nexus S and compare it to bada 2.0, then you'll see the difference. Its one of the best moves by sammy! Good job!

> In reply to Hike @ 2011-09-07 19:57 from YM4a - click to readit was in the news that there will be a major update on all bada phones on this year's last quarter, we just have to wait. it may even save us from spending money again.
i still believe that good things come to those who wait

Hm, why would someone choose Bada over Android or Symbian Belle?

I have the original Wave which I still think looks a lot better than this third version. I have been waiting to see this before choosing between it and the Sony Arc. I think the Arc looks a lot better! I like a phone to look good and different frm anything else. There are so many that look like the iPhone and the Arc is somethig different!

1,500 mah battery on S8600?
Uh no. 1.4 ghz cpu, 4.0" inch screen, not all-black interface, those are power hungry features. Samsung manage to fit 1,650 mah battery on Galaxy S plus. Why not on S8600?

This new phone shows exactly how good the first S8500 was and obviously still is. I'm not saying this new phone isn't good, it is, but it hardly brings anything new to the table. All I have to do is install Bada 2.0 on my original wave, and hey-presto. Oh, and my phone has this thing called a camera shutter key, very handy for taking, uhm, photos.

> In reply to Ramiro Cruz @ 2011-09-01 14:05 from utsT - click to readYou have to install Samsung KIES software to your computer.Download it for free from the Samsung com...
When you connect your phone via the provided micro USB cable run KIES and the program will recognise your phone and if there is a firmware update it will update your phone...for bada 2 we have to wait a bit longer to update from KIES...

Samsung wave series can be regarded as feature phones, not smartphones like galaxy series.... I came across to this decision after months i bought wave 1, but the release of wave 3 with the usual specs of wave 1 or 2 made me sad. Sammy can though please many wave lovers by adding some of the features like USB OTG, full hd playback of videos (fair enough on 4" screen), a more improved internet browser competent to safari of iphone, a nice document editor (for free), life time free navigation, increased visuals of bada os....... & most importantly a stable os without any warning to close down running apps (pray this is fixed in bada 2).
