Sorry, should have added this to my OP:
How about signal reception? Some reviews (including some with a test lab) said reception was pretty poor...

Can anyone tell me more about the LED notification strip around the home key:
- Which events does it signal? (calls, SMS, email, ...?)
- How about visibility in daylight? I'm looking for a phone where I can tell just by a glance whethere any new messages have arrived, and some notification LEDs are just too dark for daylight use.
Many thanks!
N.

Sonyericsson got some nice looking phones, what lets them down is the specs. Beef up the specs sony and you will surely sell more...

I brought this phone and i love it... the only thing i didn't like is that the rear camera is very close to the edge of the phone.. my finger comes in way while taking a picture.

This is my third android,(last one was desire) and I must say this is really first one for which I could can fully replace my E52. This phone is truly fantastic. I am not talking features, camera, facebook, etc... (which is on par with other mid performance models), here I am talking about size. It feels like a normal phone which can fit into pocket and can be used normally in one hand...just fantastic

Just got Ray for a week and I love it. It's a high-end phone with a mid-range price. Tight integration with FB blew me away and I am not really an FB fan, but it pulls the photos right into the gallery. Skype Video works. TrackID works. One problem I have is the headset, which picks up and amplifies scratches on the flat conductor.
