i have an HTC sensation XL and i think its amazing! i dont get why people say the video is crap. i recently saw evanescence play in london and took a few videos. every single one came out crystal clear from audio to video playback. best phone ive ever had for recording live music and ive had alot, from blackberry to galaxy s2 and this one beats them all

The new models have a 90 degree jack plug as the ones in the pictures (straight jack) had issues with the leads pulling out the plugs.

This phone isn't really meant to have the best specs... It's not even meant to have the best anything but it is a solid phone. Built well like all HTC's and showing off a rare white design with a huge screen. sure it has something like 1600mAh but you're probably thinking the screen being 4.7inch would drain it. Wrong. Because of the processor it's smooth and can handle better than the XE on battery life. The pix den is pretty low but it's not even noticable. 8mp and only 720@30fps i know its a shame but there could be an update in the future for 1080p. A 1.5ghz single-core processor is better than having a 1ghz dual-core because it's not so thirsty on battery life and can do anything a dual-core can do possibly faster (single task). Dual-core is built mainly for multi-tasking but it's not as if a single-core isn't. It's just deigned to be faster? Win for HTC I think. Getting this since it's due out in November in UK.

Is there a dedicated DAC for audio inside the phone? I find most phones these days have a ridiculous high output impedance making it impossible for the device to have a flat frequency response with low impedance headphones below 50 ohms

Good phone but only if it is priced between 500$ to 570$ any thing more than 570 will be dumb to pay

And yet again, another phone that still can't catch up with SG2! I do not get it, no phone in theis competition level should be anything less than SG2 coz that is now the benchmark. Even Apple have still failed in this regard with IPhone 4S!

These Dr. Dre phones are NOT audiophile. They use internal amplifier to exaggerate bass responce: kids' stuff. Try Shure, Sennheiser, but oh, didn't they cost more than the phone itself? :D

No cardslot!
With only less than 13GB available for my stuff!

I'm gotten spoiled being able to bring my whole CD collection, as mp3s, with me on my phones, being an Desire HD or a SE K850 from 2007.

It's just under 11GB and growing. I prefer a phone where I can use my 32GB and my 16GB card with.

Other manufacturers have nothing to learn from HTC, except how not to omit a card slot

For me HTC screwed up big time with this phone, if they put at least a 1ghz dual-core processor and qHD screen I would be sold, but I guess, for me, it's time for the Primetime.

What a big screen! I don't need that much. Why they have to make a phone with such a big screen like that. Also, its resolution is so small 480X800. With iPhone 4, you cannot see a single pixel even though you open your eyes widely. For this phone, you don't need to try to see any single pixel, it's just right on your eyes. Just one thing in this phone is attractive that is Beats!!!! :(
