Windows Phone is where Nokia want your attention, but it might turn out that MeeGo is the place you want to be. Not shown much love by its own maker...

Great phone! I gave it back after a week... Reason: it has all the looks and promises to perform, but when it is asked to produce the shortcomings become clear: no synchronization with windows XP; what were you thinking Nokia? Very limited applications! Not compatible with Whatsapp! No radio! It looks to me as if Nokia is out to con you into buying a phone based en esthetic appeal, only to find out you could have done much better! Rather go for Motorola RAZR, Galaxy SII or iPhone 4S. Really disillusioned in South Africa with Nokia :(

Agreed anonymous. I wanted to know in case developers didn't bother with meego or Alien Dalvik wasn't incorporated into device. I really like the phone and os, a change.

@anonymous - viability? In case meego doesn't get "Alien Dalvik" for android apps or meego just doesn't get apps period? Don't get me wrong, I hope it does get the Alien Dalvik kit because I really want something fresh.

today i had in my hands lumia800 and i have to say, it feels fantastic! N9 has the same body. still thinking to get this phone -N9. i own Galaxy2 which is great but ergonomics arent. easy to drop even in a 'mesh' case and iPhone like button deosn't feel right when operate the phone. i mean when your finger glides on the screen you need to press it sometimes relatively hard. i belive SWIPE on N9 gives much better expierience.
welli think Samsung should copy more N9 than iPhone ;)

I really like the idea of this phone and operating system! But the hardware seems really capable and was wondering whether it would be possible to flash it and put android on? Especially ice cream sandwhich?
