The common belief seems to be that there are more exciting things than Symbian on a budget. OK, well, the Nokia 500 is supposed to make you reconsider...

GSMArena pls, review the nokia 700 i want to know if this phone uses the Broadcom BCM2763 GPU or just the older one (N8, E7 etc) (I know the 701 uses the new GPU, but how about the other belle phones)

There are some things, that gsm-arena just can't understand:
The number of apps @ ovi store isn't so called problem.
What important is - the quality, not amount.
Android market is flooded with garbage apps. Is that an advantage?

sub-par cam and browser, ram only 256mb and not even belle on board! nokia should offer this model for 100, i'd then buy one for my father, he dosn't know much about technology and he will like to get a nokia with a touch-screen and good battery life!

Nokia 500 doesn't have better hardware than C6-01, only faster CPU. Everything else is worse. It's not strange that C6-01 offer much better performance, the Nokia 500 doesn't have a GPU. Also, it costs the same as C6-01, which makes this phone a terrible joke.
