Make up your own mind which camera is best !
Did anyone else notice constant comparisons to the iPhone 4s but when comparing audio output which the note exells at, they only used android ? Hmm
Jon (Swe), 19 Nov 2011Did you read the full review? It does have a pink spot! the SGS II does not!lol.if gsmarena's test unit had it,it doesn't mean that all has it.mine doesn't have, happy troll? ;)

No it won't. In fact it doesn't suppose to be that... moreThe N8 beats all of them in the camera department, but it happens to have higher resolution and therefore does not qualify.
Also, its an old player, in the game.

Please review if this problem plagues all Galaxy Notes

No it won't. In fact it doesn't suppose to be that way. The battery life is pretty good.
I note here that 3G talk time tested by GSMArena lasts three times much than iphone4s, N9 and Xperia x10.
Considering its size it is awesome.
furthermore Note is gonna updated which is confirmed by Samsung.
The pink spot? Man, GS2 beats every android phones(+Nokia N9) in the 8mp camera test. This is the best camera unless you are willing to buy ios.
awesome phone... amazing...
Oh, to add to my previous comment.
If there is a second version, and they keep the screensize, it would have the advantage of dropping those hardware buttons.
And that could mean that a only slightly updated version with a slightly smaller body could be just around the coner, if this does well.
So should I buy it or not.
The pink spot.
Poor speaker performance.
those two things, sure takes away some certainty I had before.
The problem with a device like this is, that we dont know if there will be a 2nd generation. And if, will it be as far out there. When SE updated their mini line, they grew. Will the second note shrink. Will it pack as much battery. Will it pack a decent stylus? Or will there ever be a second note.
I kinda want this one.
But I dont want pink-spot when taking pictures... whats up with that?
And the low volume of the speaker! In a device of this size, sureley not every cubic milimiter is filled, so they should be able to fit a decent speaker.
I would really want more batterylife for surfing... cant they make an inverted option for the browser, or amoled selection, where it reads white as blach, and black as ?green?, or something. Sure, it might not look that attractive, and might look like 1980s computer experience. But if it makes the battery last, it might be a really good option. It might be sufficient for some of the stuff you do online. Not all of it is reading page by page, for scanning a text or for other tasks, you dont need that perfect contrast ratio.
Just bought this phone few days ago and I just fall in love with this phone!

Manufacturers don't care about the title "iphone killer" anymore, they already moved on because iphone is harshly beaten by several handsets, especially by GS2.
Note is an example of that. Samsung is pioneering phoneblet market by releasing this. The people who need this for business, replacing some old Dell streks and PDAs.
Not targeting the smartphone market. GS2 is doing well anyway against the most of phones(that include iphone).

Now we have DNSe + quality headphones . And nothing in the review about those.

And the fact that its all plastic . Its not all plastic . That shiny thing on its sides is a metal ring surrounding it . For extra protection. The rest is TOP quality plastic.
Its strange to see how people can bias about materials .The N9 and Lumia are made of policarbonate (also known as plastic) Strange how the plastic on nokia phones is better than those on other phones.

and yet, there again another one of those cookie cutter samsungs, inspite of the change in screen size, processing power or whatever they say it has, you've seen one you've one too many hahaha. Ah, another sammy phone iPhone killer, don't you just love all these geeks and nerds "ooh ooh, it's more powerful than the iPhone, ooh ooh.. (lol) get a life freaks!
"...for an Android smartphone, at least"
I smell something odd here...
