Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 review: Power play - read the full textTablets are cool. But they have a purpose too. Larger screens, higher resolution and more mileage out of the battery make them better suited for certain tasks. That’s why people are not only fascinated by them but do end up actually...

this review is correct, the reviewer mention this is just a improved version of SGS2 with larger screen. it didnt bought anything to the mobile world. This does not mean that its not good. its just mean its better but not fasinating.

The very same reason why Iphone 4S is a good but not fasinating.

> In reply to aodxxl @ 2011-11-16 22:58 from 0Uv3 - click to readThe disappointment is probably there because Samsung is the manufacturer of the screens, so there is less of an excuse not to give the best.

I know PhoneArea love to boast about how good iPhone 4S FullHD video quality is in every review. Unfortunately, you guy never point out the fact that Apple sacrifice video compression in order to give us very high resolution video but also very BIG file!!!! 10min FullHD video cost 1GB++ of memory....Those poor iPhone 4S owner can only shoot 14?? videos.....Bye bye to your holiday shoot.

Only con for me is that cpu isn't the exynos(4212) that is manufactured in 32nm node, but again it is still exynos(4120).

Something missing from this review: "What's In The Retail Box?" (besides _not_ the MHL dongles). Does it come with case? The preview at Mobile-review.com showed a slick folio case for the G-Note.

Would've liked to have seen some side-by-side comparison photos alongside a Dell steak/htc titan/sensation xl.

Its the first HD super amoled and all they can say is "our dissapointment was to see it uses pentile"

Really? I bet the iphone 5 will use super amoled and gsmarena is gonna be ... woooow the best display out there .

> In reply to Nokia Fanboy PRO @ 2011-11-16 21:55 from kJX3 - click to readThis device is good for people who like big screens, for commercial and work stuff and don't want a tablet, Im not a fan of Samsung but kudos for them for making a lot of phone variety so people can choose for their needs and likes,if you don't like keep it for you, there are a lot of ppl who will like it... And btw about the overhyping i did not see any overhype on this device, If you really really need over hyping go check iphone 4 and the new 4S thats what i call over hyping.

"The right kind of users will be easily convinced of the advantages"

yes indeed. In fact, for the buniness, this would be a perfect phoneblet. There are the people who need this then why not?, especially the spec is pretty awesome and the real usage is good as well according to the review.

Certainly Samsung will gain some market share of this.

> In reply to johnny devil @ 2011-11-16 21:45 from nG4Y - click to readI'm not impressed and it seems that even GSMArena isn't impressed as well. It's over hyped. I'm sorry but that's how I see it and I share GSMArena's view on this device. Just because people like me isn't buying into the G Note's hype makes me a troll? Oh, please. This is an open forum and everyone can share their views. What do you expect? Make this forums bias and pro-Samsung? lol
