What will happen to existing applications like games(e.g Real Racing 2) which were purchased from Market(or now Play). Would all of them be compatible and available after updating to ICS?
Thanks.

(And stock mail is not as good as MailDroid Pro!)

I hope Sony Mobile will do better than Samsung did with the ICS update.

So when can we update our Samsung SII to ICS here in the Philippines? Or will these be for all SII for only selected countries?

for rectification the recent apps page is just recent apps, swiping them away would not close them, just deleting it from history

> In reply to TC @ 2012-03-18 10:07 from 0TXd - click to readdont understand why you need to use another app for sms when the stock one has everything you need . and is decent looking.
If it doesnt work properly its a problem with the app not being optimised not the phone itself.

Beside the few enhancements from vanilla ICS(probably they were forced to include them)the user experience is boring as hell. Touchwizz is still the same/lame ...

Samsung really did a number with ICS, instead of updating touchwiz the used the same, so gallery is worst than vanilla, app drawer is worst, transitions are worst also, and the list goes on and on.
I am not opposed to skining, but firmly believe that the skin shoud improve on the base version and not take away from it. and this one takes away a lot.
They even managed to remove a functionality that was on GB dialer where you could open the dialer and jump to contacts from in there now you have to go back to home or press menu key and contacts to get there.
I was never a fan of custom ROMs, but today CM9 is looking better and better.
By all means Samsung should offer something better than stock or just stick to stock but never something worst.
This is just my humble opinion and I thought it should be out there.
