Motorola SLVR L7 review: Slim style

Motorola SLVR L7 review: Slim style - read the full textHere comes the ideal mobile solution for all those who are not in love with clamshells, but do like Motorola Razr’s slim design. Motorola has decided to continue the path marked by its popular Razr by launching a new line of slim phones with classic construction. The best equipped among them is the new Motorola SLVR L7.

i bought the l7,hoping the functions and features were as awesome as the design, and well, im quite disappointed. first of all the picture quality sucks (it cant actually 'zoom')and when you're taking videos you can only zoom BEFORE recording, cant pause while recording so you'll have to take the video in one go.then there is the games that run quite slow(some of them). cant enlarge more than 100% when looking at picture gallery.there are so much more that i cant remember them all, but other than all those things above, the l7 is quite handy

hi, I purchased the motorola slvr L7 about 2 months ago and upto now it has been perfect. Yes, for the first few weeks it was annoying trying to get used to it but now that I've got used to it its brilliant. With its video capture, Mp3, bluetooth and its 'vga'camera i seem to think you'd have to be crazy to dis-like this phone! The main thing I like about this phone is its high defenition screen and its ability to play Mp3's.
I very highly recomend this phone to someone who needs a lot of capabilities,
Thanks,
Tom Mattack (thomas902869244@aol.co.uk)

At the beginning i was somehow disappointed by my SLVR. I expected to find more funtions in it. Now i become to like it more and more :) So, these thing i like or dislike in it:
> It seems durable enough but mine makes some "click" when pressing the screen wiping it.
> Earphones are really nice... The sound is deep and clear but sometimes they are not loud enough :)
> Really messy settings about the internet ... I could not make my e-mail client, mms and IM settings work :( E-mail settings just cannot be saved (button indicators are Cancel | Change, no Save)
> Some JAVA games run slow
> Multimedia browsing is slow. No filesystem browser
> The Calendar is with fixed hours for week display - mine is set 9-17 ... The other appointments remain invisible
> Keypad is really stiff and hard to use. It get scratched quickly
> Phone contacts list could be better ... But it's large :)
> More settings to play with. Some totally useless.
> Supports COPY-PASTE
> DUMB iTap ... and entry settings ... But text functions are made better than in my nokia 1100 :) Supports multi-language input.
> Really confortable to wear in your pockets :) I like that
> Worths its money!

I got the SLVR L7 RED a few days ago and what a good choic it was. Great phone- top design and high quality performance. Only slight disappointment is that it can't open megapixel pictures so picture sending is limited between people.
Other than that, GREAT PHONE- would highly recommend.
