JB fixes many ICS (and general Android) issues, so just enjoy your GB in the meantime.

I am dissapointed in SGIII Web Browser, because practically in it no of copy-paste function. That is nonsense !
Clipboard is just rubbish...
I think in SGII Web Browser was better; especially when I want to opened one web page in particular place ant aftter copying something from it, to paste another...
SGIII isn't tool for something more than just ...play...
It's a pitty.
Earlier I used SGII HTC HD, MDA Pro and was happier...
Goog is battery, display, speed of SGIIII, but Web Browser have to be significantly improved.
In other case I will be waiting for Windows Mobile next generation.
My dream is Copy-Paste from Website to MS Word or to my email...
Sorry for complaint.
I was happier with HTC HD !

I own S2 (I am G user) previously, and now S3.
Never regret switch over to S3.
S3 beside it performance, it is solid build by Samsung, Samsung did nicely this time in apps and OS tune.
S3 camera lag free is somehow gorgeous and this is where S2 can't compare with it.
S3 4.8 inch is big enough without affecting the hand hold, it curve design actually well feel in hand than S2.
S3 battery charging is crazy fast, this is somehow I get shock!
S3 out of the box is stable, nothing unusual thing happen. Never hang before. Not like my previous G version of S2, it is rapidly hang in GB until recent ICS just solved it.
S3 OS tunes and own apps is tool cool until now I not even bother on AOSP, AOKP or CM9 as non of this custom ROM is better than it own.
In general, this is the best Samsung phone I ever own. It just too great to miss. :)

> In reply to rcl4444 @ 2012-06-21 18:06 from P%ns - click to readI have the s2 and the s3. I can honestly say that the s2 is better. But that is because of the custom ROM, I am running. I basically have a galaxy s3 operating system (ice cream sandwich 4.0.4) running on my s2. I am getting way, wayyyyy faster quadrants on my exynos processor than on the Qualcomm s4 that is in my s2. That is the truth. I am telling everyone right now that with all due honesty that if you load up and stable ice cream sandwich ROM onto the s2 and overclock the processor (stable as well), out well absolutely beat pants off the stock s3 handsdown.

Why bigger screen is better???? Is that mean next samsung phone will be 5"+ ? If so they will end up with Galaxy Tab phone......

S3 is a good phone, but it hasn't left the S2 far behind in general performance, features or smoothness. And if the next update for S2 peels away more touchwiz from ICS (like the S3) then the gap gets smaller.
After that if you didn't know what was inside then all you'd really notice is a different look/size of the phone, look to the UI & sharper screen. And with that the first two are mostly personal preference.
Perception is reality.
Sure, there's lots of actual differences/ improvements, but you gotta look hard or know about them to, well, know they're there!
Wherease pick up a S2 over an S1 (and I still think my old S1 not bad) and it's like wow, what a difference in so many areas.
So I'm with you and hoping like hell that Samsung works this out and makes the S4 an indistputable pack leader!

Is Samsung Galaxy S3 a worthy Upgrade compared to S2? listed below is the comparitive spec sheet ..
the differences ..
1) LTE, GLONASS, Smart Stay, Dropbox and NFC additions not available in global S2 Model
2) Bluetooth 4.0 as compared to 3.0 in S2
3) Screen Size 4.8 inches 720p screen as compared to 480p in S2
4) Quad core 1.4 ghz processor as compared to Dual core 1.2 Ghz ..
the camera and battery backup are slightly better .. though nothing much to swoon about ..
These differences almost go away if I compare it with the Galaxy Note with LTE being available and the screen is HD as well .. the processor and the extra goodies are the only difference and the micro-sim support and lack of stylus are disadvantages ..
the ram, the GPU, the camera are all the same .. why on earth would I want to upgrade when ICS is silky smooth on both of them .. the dual core processor by itself is overkill for ICS forget quad core ..
I think right now the better phone is the galaxy note for the price u pay ..
the upgrade from Galaxy S to Galaxy S2 was quantum .. from S2 or Galaxy Note .. its hardly worth it .. this is why they are going to sell less of S3 and it wont be a wonder if Iphone beats samsung back end of this year ..
I hope samsung wakes up and makes S4 much better of an upgrade to what the Galaxy Note or Galaxy S3 has been ..

I am a happy owner of the news Samsung Galaxy S3. I am also sad that it doesn't work sometimes as it should.
For example, the GPS on my unit fails to work frequently. I use Google Maps (latest version) every day for about 2-3 hours. It sometimes loses signal and doesn't regain it ever after rebooting the device 2-3 times.
It runs Android 4.0.4 (I9300BULF1).
I have all of the options checked:
-use wireless networks;
-use GPS satellites;
-use sensor aiding;
-location and google search;
Everything else works perfect.
I'm lucky that I haven't sold already my old HTC HD2 running Android.
Is there anybody that has the same issue?

I'm using S III from last 1 week. Below are few queries.
1.Though the Phone shows as 100% battery, the moment I plug out, it shows 99%. Why is this happening? Is this only to me or to everyone else?
2.I dont see a Document editor, I see only Polaris viewer. Do we need to buy this software or do we need to download it from any site?
3.When I connect to Kies, it says, "Your device doesnt support software upgrading via kies". What we need to do in this case?
4.Performance is too low and the available RAM is always shows less than 300, even without installing any apps. What needs to be done to improve Performance and Battery backup?
Could you please answer these?
Thanks a lot for the help & time (In advance)in answering all the queries
