A friend bought this 2 days ago.Brought it over my place for some adjustments.I tried connecting it with my router ,but when I was searching for my SSID I couldn't find it.I scanned and re-scanned and nothing! It could "see" all the networks around but not mine.I even updated it.Anyway,I figured out that the problem was with the channel.Phone cannot see channel 12 and I suspect ch 13.So, I changed it to channel 6 and worked. But this is not a solution if you can't change the router/access point settings(in a cafe for example).Question: Is it Android's issue or phone's hardware? Is there a workaround?

Xperia U is very good in general , the most shocking is the very poor sound quality ??????????????
why Sony always put a point of weakness in each phone ! that's really strange

if it is their strategy to sell all models , they have to support the sound quality : loudness in each single unit , because SOUND IS THE MOST IMPORTANT esp. ringtone.

Display quality is excelent as wel as wi fi.but Hearing volume is low. difficult in conversation in crowded place. Sound quality is below average. Cant play wma file as wel as hd vedio. Memory is a big question! Why it has no memory slot? Was itvery expensive for sony?

> In reply to Zannat.duel-imc9 @ 2012-09-02 21:45 from uNVC - click to readButton requires a very hard two-stage push. First stage only autofocuses, second stage to take the picture. Especially on a new phone it is a very stiff action. You also need the second stage push to wake the camera up from standby. It takes a bit of getting used to to avoid shake, but it's good once you can.
