I have this Xperia for a month. Bad move. Battery issues, camera issues, sound issues. Switching to HTC.

You then have to go to Settings | Wireless & networks | Mobile networks | Access Point Names then press the menu button again to add New APN, and put in the details you are given. If you can deal with them by email, forum or instant messaging, it's best, since there are lots of details it is easy to mis-hear.

Hi, can the radio be heard via a loudspeaker or do you have to connect the headset/headphones? And is it possible to back up things like SMS messages on your computer? Thanks in advance :)

Its a wonderful phone for the price range.. but i like to instal ice cream sandwich 4.0 ... the android version curently installed is gingerbread 2.3.7 an old version.. Can some one help me out for installing icecream sandwich 4.0 in xperia U.. please mail me to ranjit.miryala@gmail.com

The PC Companion software includes backing up functions, though I'm not sure it does so to a format that's easily browsable. It basically seems to dump everything into one huge file.

I've been using this phone for about a month now and it works perfectly well . It could handle games like riptide gp and temple run without any lag whatsoever . The camera works good enough and i absolutely love the web browser ! I think this is one of the best phones out there for this price range and it is really worth buying

GSMARENA...... The Only Reason why phones are always sold out at the market....
BTW, I want Xperia U, since it has more capabilities than Ray.. and if you are going to look for a phone at the same price, U had more advantage, since it's SONY...

See how are the photos indoor with the flash on. They have the lowest quality among the smartphones (very noisy). Maybe Sony doesn't test them before bringing them up on the market.

I have the same mp3 file as the ringtone, and there is detail on the XU I'd not heard before, and it's about the same volume. In the UK it's considered rather antisocial to use the speaker on phones too much, so not over worried if it's not as loud as some phones out there.
