LG Optimus Vu review: Vu from the top

LG Optimus Vu review: Vu from the top - read the full textLG may have given up on tablets, but not on the Optimus Vu - it's halfway between a phone and a tablet, a hybrid of form factors that we like to call "phoneblets". The Samsung Note was one of the first, but that doesn’t mean it can have the market all for...

GSMArena,

Sony Ericsson, not LG, was the first to introduce touchscreen phones...remember P800, P900...etc?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry LG, this isn't going to sell. Unless it's cheaper than the Note.

I've always been a fan of LG since the original viewty camera phone from 5 yrs ago and I want to support them but they just need to focus more on putting on the finishing touches. like highier res screen, better quality cameras and better form factor.
their designs are awesome, much more trendier and fashionable but... come on LG we are still waiting for a halo device from you. please

ICS Firmware - which is even better than one for Samsung Galaxy Note - is already applied to Optimus Vus for LG U+, South Korea's smallest mobile carrier. But because CDMA2000/LTE phones are unusasble in EU, I suspect GSMArena reviewed the SKT version, which is still running Gingerbread. shame;//

yeah, I'd rather buy a real tablet instead, there's no way this thing would fit in my pocket comfortably....and I don't like the design

Well done GSMarena.. you managed to do the review and exclude this phone's only true rival, the Galaxy Note from all the benchmarks.. very useful. Duh!

I'm looking at the latest LG devices and I'm atlast confused if not shocked an confused.
Or LG is practicing the extreme sport of bleeding more money or is a lack of inspiration inside. Their latest phones(Prada 3, 4X HD, Optimus Vu) have mediocre cameras for 2012 standards, horrible back-covers, mediocre speakers/audio output(Prada 3 and 4X HD)...

Not in a milion years 4X HD can really compete with Galaxy SIII(wich I don't really like) and this one with Galaxy Note(even that capacitive stylus is a junk compared to the digitized Wacom from the Note)
