Wow! The recent upgrade to JB really boosted the internet browsing performance including the fact I can now use gesture typing for Google search! Everything runs so much smoother now. The phone is even easier to use than when I first bought it. Totally loving it!!!

Please, does anyone else have a problem with the NFC chip on the back of the phone falling off? I don't understand why they chose to put the chip on the outside rather than on the inside where it would be safe. Or is that just the logo on the back of the phone?

Just want to ask, is acro s phone comes up with a screen protector? Because I just bought this phone less than 1 month ago and I'm not sure if it is needed since when I see the screen area, I think that Sony already put a layer of screen protector there. Is there anyone can let me know? Thanks

1. Starting this month of January, the screen of my acro s is blinking even the battery is full, i bought this last septmeber 2012. Is it because i'm letting the battery to be charge all night and i'll just remove it when i wake up?
2.When i'm making screenshots while having Skype/videocall, my pictures are always black even the internet connection is fast.
3. When I'm playing games on my phone the sound is changing, low to normal, normal to low. I haven't tried to soak this phone in the water since i bought it.

yeah its nice the camera is perfect, and it has so many features that i don't need to install apps...
i bought that mobile last december 22, 2012 and yesterday it just won't Power ON :( after the 100% charge, i remove it from charger then used it a bit to check emails.. left it then when i came back it just won't power ON!
i followed every battery maintenance not to make it battery drain nor too much charging.. but still it just breakdown in less than a month!
then i went to Xperia store (3F Gaisano Mall of Davao City) where I bought it, they didn't even gave me a service unit because they "run out of service unit" does that mean Xperia has so many problems?
and they can even assure me when I will get back my unit... how sad! i spend so much money on very bad sony Xperia service :(
now i don't have any smart phones to use :(

> In reply to kimmy @ 2012-09-21 16:01 from IVxe - click to readConsidering that you're a clumsy person, the Acro S with it's IP57 cert might suits you better. I once drop my phone to a bucket of water, that's why i'm considering to buy this phone. Drop the OneX into water and you'll end up crying.

Sadly it has a non-user replaceable battery. :( If your battery is out, you need to buy a new one, and it will be expensive.

Looks like a good option for those that want a good smratphone for life, not a tech monster like the Note II for example. The IP57 is well worth the price. Lose an smartphone to a toilet once, and you'll see why.
