Sony Ericsson W810 review: Walkman on the EDGE - read the full textA few months after launching its new W810 model, Sony Ericsson delivered it to our office. This black twin of the famous W800 model features EDGE and the main menu has undergone slight modifications. All other applications have remained untouched. The new W810 is much more about color emotions, sport spirit, and launching novelties at all costs.

look...w810 is better than k610 cause :

camera is autofoucs and has more options ..
its Walakman phone .. so the sound through the headphones is greaaaaaaaaaaat ...
and it has radio .. and k610 is not .

but in other way .. k610 is 3g ( which i think its not important ..atleast for me ) and the speaker is so loud ,,

so w810 is better in ( Mp3 ) ( camera ) ( radio )
and about 6288 .. i swear that w810 is muchhhhhh better ... belevie me

Can some 1 give me some advices,i want 2 buy a fon n choose among sony errison w810,k610,or nokia 6288.i dunno 3g is really important or not

d900 is better in camera ofcourse as its 3 megapixel and w810 is only 2 .. but in music .. w810 win .. and if u want a good camera ( the best 2 mega pixel camera among all mobiles ) and greeat music player then go for w810 .. and if u want camera phone ,, then u can take K800 N73 D900 ..

yes it has flight mode .. and if u think of buing it .. dont be afraid go and buy it its great phone

cant sayy anthing exept its .. greaaaaaaaaaat Music phone .. and it has camera which is better than any other 2 megapixle camera from nokia as n90 or n70 really great phone and sound quaity is damn great

hye....well can any1 tell me which phone should i buy from any of them....or plz tell me any other mobile....

1) Nokia 5500
2) Sony Ericsson w810
3) Sony Ericsson W700
4) Samsung D900......

i would be very pleased if any1 would advice me coz i cant make up a mind which 1 to buy.....feel free to advice abt other then these cell phone to...(PRICE SHOULD BE NEAREAR TO THESE)

Hello, Assalamualikum..which of these fones are louder in the earphone..w300, k750, w810..I have k750 but im not satisfied with loudness in earphone...and also how loud speakerz are of w810...If w810 is louder then any of other given phones then surely I'll but w810..Thx in advance:)

camera needs flash! its useless otherwise at night in a dark lounge or bar.

the light blinds people when taking pictures in dare areas.

volume in ear is not loud enough!!!

can barely get one days use on the battery with limited call use AND use of only ONE extra feature: listening to music, using speakerphone, having bluetooth on.

otherwise good phone.

Had the w810i for 3 months now, i love it but there is a major drawback for me:
messages storage capacity is really low, i get the "message memory near full, please remove messages" message way too often, and i couldn't figure out if there is an option to store text messages in the memory card where there is plenty of free space

i m having a problem with my w810i. when i take a picture it says saving. after that when i want to view the picture its says no file. but in file manager picture information shows that pictures are there. can any one help me to fix this problem?

Just purchased this phone today after reading lots of reviews about it. Overall it's an excellent phone with very few disappointsments so far.

I am concerned about protecting the camera lens though and am not sure what to do about it.

Does anyone know if bluetooth stereo music headsets will work with this phone? I was thinking about buying those nice Motorola ones to go with it, but I don't want to d it if they wont work.

Just purchased this unit on 19 Oct 2006, 2 days after the phone got problem, rebooted it self and then flashing a white at the screen until the batt exhausted. Sent to SE service center then they flashing a latest firmware. 5 hours then the problem come again and i send it again until this third time they said hardware problem need for replacement and until now i still wait for the result. Phone is great, camera and sound superb with HPM70..thus what can i say.. maybe mine was 1 in 100 unit that come faulty. No regret..nobody perfect but as long its under SE warranty..who care. Phone solid and nicely fit in my shirt pocket just nice.

I went to www.newegg.com to purchase a 2GB (Ultra) SanDisk memory stick for approx $65.00. It is blazing fast and was a great buy. We buy all our computer periphials from newegg.com where I work. Try them out.

Just tried the clamshell w300. Opted for the w810i instead through Cingular. Just came off a Motorola Vsomething. This is a fantastic phone. I can record voice notes at work. I use the countdown timer at my job. I listen to music through the FM or Walkman while in the car or while working outside at my home. If anyone calls the music stops while have a short conversation. I am very impressed with the entire package.....the w300 was also nice. I prefer the candybar form factor. The photo quality is also a great reason to upgrade. I appreciate having a usable camera. I can take shots then email them. I can record voice notes then email them as well. Sony has a great website for free themes and ringtones.........lamarjackson@knology.net

You cant find a better phone. 2mp camera, mp3 player, i've dropped it at least 4 times and not a scratch and still works perfect. Had it 3 months and was gonna change but k800i is too big, k610i and v630i dont have autofocus so no point. This is THE BEST fone out there right now.

Hi! I have owned both this phone, w810i, and its previous model the w800i. I have found them both great and personally I would of stuck with my w800i but it was stolen and my insurance gave me the next model up. However, the w810i is just as good and I have found it to Load faster on a 2gb card than the w800i did.
