Apple iPhone 5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S III: All rise - read the full textWhen we review phones we try to put them in context, and tie everything up with a snapshot of the market and the closest alternatives. Now, we usually keep droids and iPhones separate because honestly they just don’t mix. But every now and then...

I am a bit confused: well, if the size of screen matters while surfing and those funtional features, ok. But then you cant also give a winner to the samsung against the technical specs in screen mostly while the screen is bigger

I've been using iPhone 2G-4 but when I experimentally use a Galaxy I was never gone wrong. Android technology is far beyond iOS and has plenty of features. If you wanna get in with the crowd get an iPhone but if you really want a smartphone go for Samsung. I've been using Galaxy Note II Quad Core 3,100mAh vs. iPhone 5 Dual Core 1440mAh almost half. :)

Android technology is far beyond iOS. I'm using iPhone from 2G-4S but when I experimentally tried galaxy it has thousands of features that you can't really imagine. The real competitor of iPhone 5 is Galaxy Note II from it's Quad core vs. an iPhone's Dual Core.

Price: 1 apple = almost 2 samsung.
Features: 1 samsung = 1 apple.
Screen: Samsung is obviously better.
Conclusion: Hmmm you know what i mean. :)

The S3 is miles ahead of the iPhone in almost every aspect you look at, until you reach the OS. Android is a crappy, laggy OS. Sure, it gives you a lot of freedom, but what is the use of all that power in a laggy phone? I own a S3 and I have played around with my BIL's iPhone5. iOS is so fast and smooth, that you could get things done in a snap.

With every version of Android, I had hoped that they would fix the lag. Nothing, including quad core processors and several gigabytes of RAM have been able to fix the lag even now. We need a new OS, as Android has failed to be a real challenger to iOS. Now I am pinning my hopes on Ubuntu.

Thank you for a thorough review. I am looking to upgrade my phone, had narrowed it down to 2, but got stuck there. At least now I will make a well informed decision.

Thanks again.

It's time to get a new world wit wide sreen n see all wat u need. Dn't u guys get small eyes wit small sreen of iPhon5? Enjoy your freedom wit S4. Nothing can limit u like ip5 even ios, bluetooth, u only can pair the same brand. Let take S4 in your hand is far better than ip5!!

This is probably the best and most well written comparison I have ever read. All the information I needed to make a decision was there. I have decided and tomorrow i am buying a Motorola. HA!
