For me, i am into the iOS ecosysytem and i always loved apple products, and i even own a S3, screen size matters but sometime its really hard to carry that monstrous thing, while the iPhone 5 fits so easily, so for me iPhone is a better choice.
great work GSMArena... I love reading your reviews. I personally love the s3 (using it atm) but I'm glad there's unbiased comparisons like yours around.
One thing though, I think it would be better if instead of having winners at the end of each section, you could just let readers draw their own opinions from your facts. imo.
Nice comparison GSMArena the winner is Samsung Galaxy S3 simple is that well done.
S3 build material is plastic but it survives much more longer than iPhone 5 in the blender. :]
I don't think you can award any extra points for iMessage, considering the SGS3 comes with not only ChatOn, but Google Talk, a cross platform messaging service that works through your gmail address. It's got a wider platform base, working on all Android devices, plus any computer that can access gmail (probably iOS too, but I've never looked).
[deleted post]Always loved this phone, before i changed to Nokia 6120c, which has newer symbian and different shell.
Why not iphone5 vs note2? That's a more fair comparison since they are released at the same time?
I hope WP8 can do what these cant, and that is better business and personal integration. These mobiles are just a gaming, photo, maps, and video platforms, but where is the business integration. Maybe even look to the new BB. Someone has to get it right. I do not want to spend hours stuffing around on a complex interface, and spend hours customisation trying to make what is mobile device easier to use. I want less Social Network Integration and more business integration. As always, an excellent article from GSMarena.
Anonymous, 26 Oct 2012Better might be to stick with iOS, since Android is about to get clobbered by WP8.wp8 doesnt even sell.
its dead on arrival

Anonymous, 25 Oct 20122 days ago i would disagree with you, but now i am not sure. Its one week since i bought a Gal... moreuhm, I own the note 2 as well and it does give you a simple option to filter ur call log. Its choc full of features, and if you don't fancy the touchwiz clutter, you could always run a custom rom.
I think you guys are biased towards the Iphone on some of those. So.. the SGS3 has a micro USB.. BUT the Iphone has a fancy suite that you have to install to download pictures from the camera folder via a cable that costs 30$ SO IT'S A TIE! Wuut?!
This is the most proffesional method of making smartphone comparisons that I have ever seen. I particularly like the part they said 'tally the wins that matter' because smartphone preference is very personal. For example in this comparison SGS3 takes the cake for me but compare any smartphone in the world and nothing seems better than N808 to me ever! GSMA congrats on a very proffesional analysis
The HTC dlx with its 1080p screen, 2gb ram and s4 pro chip will wipe the floor with both of them
Blankman, 26 Oct 2012I respect your opinion, but an OS that just works, is what most people want. Both offer what t... moreI am tired of people saying android is for tech geeks... It is actually as easy (if not easier) than ios... The advantage it has is that for tech geeks it is very much customizable... If not... Just use it as it is... Android is more popular than ios btw... So saying ios is what people "need" isnt valid anymore...
