I have just sent back my LG because of the poor software. It seems LG use cheap components. The spec doesn't count for much. I now have the s3 and thus seems leeps ahead in features and reliability. Nothing worse than poor software. I find that if I push the LG to its limit it fails but the s3 doesn't struggle. Multitasking is the best test for these phones.

waiting BlenTec to do blend test on this phone with S3. Previously S3 survive much longer in the blender than iPhone 5.

Wow. Am I the only one here thinking that if the Optimus was a Samsung design then Apple would be all over it on the grounds that it looks a LOT like some of their products?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-23 21:15 from m1Px - click to readI am getting my Galaxy S 3 2GB LTE tomorrow i could really use the extra ram on offer. Playing flash games on my One X can crash sense and the browser. Problem is with the OS using 650MB, and the OS closing applications down at 900MB it means you can only play light flash games. It's hit and miss the CPU can handle it fine but 2GB is needed for me so that is a must.

I would not get the LG phone, they have the worst software updates of any company out there. Even their Tegra 3 phone is way behind the HTC Tegra phone so you can take that into consideration.

samsung galaxy s3 is very good in software but not durable because of its bad build quality

LG has given more choices to select to consumers and it means LG strikes back to the market as gloroius brand again. Welcome back and hope to be standing well. My Optimus G with AT&T.

Odd my Optimus G AT&T got very different scores than their test model.

Antutu: 14102
Quadrant: 7604
Vellamo: 1724 (HTML5) 654 (Metal)
Geekbench 2: 2162!

Didn't run these on a freezer or any of that BS. Huge difference in Geekbench and Antutu.
