I'm using this phone for over 4 months and I'm quite content with it. Only cons are the lack of secondary cam and overheating. 720p videos do not play on the stock video player, any third party interface would work. The overheating can be controlled a bit by using an optimizer, which closes background processes. And yeah, you can use the primary cam for video calls :P I give an overall 8.5 for it :D

I am using this phone for two days..I noticed phone getting heated in 10 minutes .. I am using WiFi ..any solution for this problem plzz

Whenever I use the flash transfer application, my phone is reset automatically.

Bought the desire x 1 month back. Aweful cellphone. Gets hung up every day. Heating is another problem. Miss my Nokia.

only thing u will bear its heat with HTC, which is ok for all HTC models.
+be : better user interface, good battery backup, rich look (always den samsung), typing text , beats audio ... So go for hot HTC ;)

u jus need to make changes in Network setting -> APN settings and according to your location put the CORRECT APN.

m in maharashtra and m using apn as "bsnlnet".

dude one proper answer for how to overcome this heating problem in htc desire x . i play temple run and it heats up in 2 mins . phone other wise is good . i cant smell burning plastic on the bak side of phone

Awesome phone.. just has d problem of heating... Battery stays for longer time compared to Samsung..loving this phoneme:-)

Bought this phone a month back and I am really impressed by the way the phone handles .Everything is so smooth and quick.battery lasts long compared to my other phones ,I use it to call, browse and play games each for about 1.5 hours and the battery still holds up for around 30 hours.The only problem I read about is the lack of hd recording but I don't care about it so this phone for me is one of the best.
The look is good and its an real eye catcher.
