So far I only noticed several games to drain a lot of juice. WiFi and location (GPS) do not hurt battery life that much.

nothing serious just something is bugging my mind, that wireless charging is useless if charging it in car(as if ac input is available). it will keep slipping while your car is moving. lol

The review about the poor headphone audio quality is very worrying.
How obvious is this in real life listening, and could it be a QC problem? What about the Dolby Headphone feature?

I really love this phone. Need to buy this if this provides WiFi Hotsopt option. I know Lumia 920 has it. Most androids has it. Nokia please provide Wifi Hotspot. I need that daily because I have to share my phone's Internet connection with laptop. Other than that every thing is perfect with this phone.

People those are saying Nokia will die, either they are nonsense or they are very emotional to Android /Iphone. I had used Galaxy SII and at present I am using Nokia N808 Pureview and Iphone 4S. According to my opinion Iphone 4S is basic phone (battery life time????). I think Symbian Belle is the best operating system and Nokia N808 Pureview is complete life except Skype video chat. In that case Lumia 820 will be the greatest phone . Particularly battery life time of nay Nokia phone is super. Best of luck Lumia 820.

You didn't mention that Nokia Lumia 820 has HAAC (High Amplitude Audio Capture) microphones and so the recorded audio is distortion free also at the loudest music performances and it can record also very low bass sound vs its rivals has nonHAAC mics and so the recorded audio at music concert recordings is mostly distorted and they can't capture low bass sound. Even if it is in mono it sounds better than nonHAAC microphone device's audio recordings. Besides that I think they can update it to stereo when WP8 supports stereo recording.

On Indian tv show tech guru, they strongly advice not to go for wp 8 os. Because innovation process is going on for wp 8 .

Hey am using android, 4.1, but still no matter if any phone maker gives u the ultimate handset... it still hangs, have lags & bugs, yea u get flexibility, u do get customization, tonnes of apps, but still wht use a flagship cell if it lags on the basic functions of calling & messaging... WP8 is a good OS, ands it environment is spreading leaps & bounds... so it will surely dent the android & apple market...
And one more thing, EVERY EMPIRE CRUMBLES.... android, apple or samsung are no exceptions...
look closely, some time back nokia was ruling the mobile world, now its not even running.. & samsung was nowhere to be seen against nokia, but still today samsung is like what Bolt is for Olympics & Jamaica... So, just wait some time, ...... times keep changing, the clock keeps on ticking
