> In reply to Boom boom boom @ 2012-11-24 14:50 from fxHc - click to readEverything seems bug-free when you try for 5 minutes on a store (or when you are a fanboy), I got a friend with a Galaxy S2 and S3 and they report that their phone lag and freeze sometimes like any other one (yeah they use stock rom, they don't even know how to flash and aren't android-obsessed to care for that)... They simply aren't fanboys.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-24 12:22 from kg3U - click to readThere is No bug available at Any Android Smartphone(except poor nexus series). All samsung galaxy phone's that comes with TouchWiz launcher are totally "bug" free. Who told u to flash ur rom? A little learning is a dangerous thing. Dont flash roms if ur knowledge is limited. Never root - you will Never face any "issue". Cheap phones may be laggy or slow - but they are "Cheap" phones.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-24 12:22 from kg3U - click to readYou can see in XDA non complained of Custom ROMS because there are 2 types of custom ROMS: 1-Developed ROMS from manufactures "This is what I'm talking about because of bugs free" 2-Original Developed ROMS from source of Android "It has some bugs".
And I'm an Android user since 2009 may be i have bugs in only 1% from type 1 ROMS and 10% from type 2.
Android in JB is completely rocks its so smooth in UI and rich in features and i don't know how you get bored from open source which you can have any launchers even launchers emulate like WP Metro launcher and IOS Launcher, while you say you don't get bored from non changeable launcher in WP Metro and IOS... it completely unreasonable state!
And you also said "An OS (Android) that needs reboot every couple days or factory reset every couple weeks is not a reliable OS for me. Prefer WP and iOS."
This proves 100% you never owned Android phone because me and all my friends have Android we never needed to factory reset, Only when you flash a new custom rom.
Why Nokia fans make up stuff like this to justify Nokia's failure? unbelievable people.

> In reply to JackTheRipper @ 2012-11-24 11:20 from fqfK - click to readI had plenty of Android devices in the past. Still have two. Sure, Android gives you more options but Android is too unreliable for my taste. Flash custom roms just to fix some bugs then you'll get even many more bugs in those custom roms. I got tired of flashing custom ROMs after awhile. WP and iOS are much more stable if you haven't used them.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-24 10:40 from kg3U - click to readAndroid is always better its like real computers it gives you complete freedom and multitasking and customization while WP its a joke it reminds me with old OS phones only supports calls and messages with no multitasking and very limited options.
May be Android lags in phones with Qualcomm CPUs but still it doesn't lag like how Nokia fanboys describe it... Even Windows XP lags if there are several application run in background! Android lags when you run a lot of apps in background without shutting them in an appropriate way, In Samsung devices just hold the center button for 2 seconds and release your hand it will show you all apps, you can close them or you can go though any of them like real computer, even now with latest update for S3 4.1.2 i can enjoy multi-windows view like Note II.
So have fun with the most limited outdated deserted OS ever = Windows Phone

> In reply to dheerajmehta @ 2012-11-24 09:32 from YTFm - click to readSounds like you haven't used WP8 or iOS. Those things are way faster than any Android. They are faster OS because of restricted hardware and they can optimize the hardware better. Android is way too fragmented with many different SoC and GPUs. Plus Android was not created for touchscreen.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-24 08:38 from Qxpm - click to readall you wp8 and iOS users need to understand that android does a lot more like true multitasking....gives features that dont exist on other OS.
hell try implementing a HTC sense flipclock on iOS....it lags like hell...(after jailbreaking and cydia)
these OS are lightweight OS which dont truly multitask.therefore mid range specs of windows phone and iOS match high end specs of android.
but u have to consider pricing as well....since iOS and WP8 offer subpar hardware in those terms at the same price as top dog android hardware.....so they are in a way making more profit by fooling customers.
and software well android has better functionality and features and is better...PERIOD

How shame a Nokia mid range beating Samsung flagship in every benchmark. ROFL

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-23 18:20 from vaNH - click to readIncorrect analysis... have you heard about living tiles... which means, refreshing updates in most of the required icons, when the screen is alive?! Unlike the static icons of Android ?! This something where threads are running...and is a tax for the battery juice. Even still then... it is power efficient because, it lasts 2 days ( nearly)...And the way threads for the background execution by volume is different for Android and WP. By the way... how much would an Android phone last with a 1650 mAH battery with the same screen size...probably with your incorrect maths...the answer would be 120 hours?!
