As much as everyone hates to admit it, Nokia's best cards lay with Symbian and Meego, which they killed. All they had to do was improve hardware (even dual core with a gig of ram would be a hit for these two platforms). Still, great review and best of luck L920
920.. An apple wannabe.
No sd slot no removable battery plus heavy as a brick.
Oh my, it's crazy that at this point where they still have money, but they're losing it they are releasing a mediocre product.
i love nokia bez of its service in india ....its very much better than samsung , htc , sony and others ,,.....and with such innovation its a gold for a bucks...happy days to nokia
Nice thorough review as always, GSMArena!
I still can't wait to get my hands on one, but yellow has been sold out online almost since launch :-(

And still, you find yourself competent to write an insulting comment on such device. Smartphone is enigma to your brain, especially 'smart', since all you know is phone.. Just, low man, to low..
You didn't mention 1 thing where Nokia Lumia 920 really shines vs its rivals - it has better audio recording capabilities. Nokia Lumia 920 has 3pcs HAAC (High Amplitude Audio Capture) microphones and so the recorded audio is distortion free also at the loudest music performances and it can record also very low bass sound vs its rivals has nonHAAC mics and so the recorded audio at music concert recordings is mostly distorted and they can't capture low bass sound.
So one of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of apps? isn't this why elop killed meego? even though it was shown it could run android apps? I still cannot see what Windows has brought to nokia? clearly nokias innovation is a fantastic asset for m$
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks Gsm arena :)
For this Amazing review...:D
How would you compare Lumia 920 with HTC 8x. I could maybe have a deal to get 8x for little money so im wondering...
very very very disappointed! less camera! far less impressive that the 808! gsmarena should compare it with xperia sl or xperia t or compare by yourself in the compare page! every thing is less! very heavy for nothinG! xperia v has lens on sensor for the same sensitivity with better display! its display is also disappointing from nokia! the os is not at all good for a lot of people and yeah iphone 5 with its so closed ecosystem is a direct target that nokia should really give a headshot as there is no more reasons to buy iphone 5 , wp8 and lumias design are far better than ios and iphone but android has far cheaper far better options with very much more advanced settings ( even with less weight) , true multiutasking , best freedom and openess , a lot of apps and newly a high attention from developpers , a lot of different design ( not that single design of wp8) and best browsing experience + you can change whole browser webkit by a different browser and the best thing is rooting ability and custom roms that you can build at home! already wp8 launchers are available for android which is really very good! android capabilities + a new ui!but definitely not switching from android! nokia should prepare a new droid which can support 41mp ( unlike limitation of 8 mp of wp8) and full hd ( not supported by wp8) and a lot more!! cheers!
Lumia 920 is great but Nokia and Microsoft need a dirt cheap WP8 phone to push to the masses. This will bring more developers and further enrich their app selection.
Nice review, truthfully written. Last page, aka Final words has some filings man. Nice job! I am hoping Nokia Lumia 920 to be great success, to shake Android. Android is starting to be boxy, like they come to an end. Its only about power for them. Need a good competition to shake them up, to start thinking new things, to integrate Android a bit better. Personally, I don't like Windows on a phone, but Lumia looks sexy, stable and sturdy! Gsmarena pointed something clever: You don't need 700.000 aps, as long you have important ones! That is for starting point, good enough! I am an android fan, bud also a fan of reality, and Nokia 920 is a very very good phone. If 920 was an android, ho ho ho, Christmas for me. Cheers.
