think Samsung Galaxy S2 is better than the S2+ guy's think about it, samsung broke the wall to the market with the excellent model of S2 and they use the best components which were most expensive to built in the phne, that you couldn't find in galaxy s+. And by the way the S+ don't have the Gorilla glass like old s2 so when your phone drops out you need to replace the screen.

I wanted to buy this phone, since where I live its price is pretty acceptable. However upon researching on the internet, I found out that the broadcom GPU causes bugs and incorrect rendering in many games. For example:
Modern Combat 4: The gun is missing
Carmageddon: Black on screen controls
Subway surfers: the running guy is not rendered at all
Asphalt 7: Looks plain weird. Can't really explain it.

Now I am leanint towards HTC One SV with similar price, butt better performance, worse screen and camera.

Compare to Cyrus Apel http://www.cyruspad.com/phone.php (yes "Apple" in Indonesian) which has the same CPU & GPU,RAM Size, Internal Memory size, but with 4.5" IPS 1280 x 720, HDMI port, USD 206 price tag, I will not care about unpopular brand....but if Samsung can give USD 250 price I will choose Samsung....

In the history of software updates, the new Jelly Bean update by Samsung to the Galaxy S II is by far the most major update given to a smartphone yet.

Jellybean is now rolled out for the old s2 in most markets, so no advantage there, the sets are identical in terms of OS (although the 'plus' has the new os out of the box). Many experts think the new processor and GPU are inferior, and they have been benchtested as such. I've just come from a store making a direct comparison with the s2 and s2 plus both running jelly bean, and we (me and sales guy) rebooted the plus version because we couldn't believe our eyes, yet the same thing happened -- the user interface was comparatively all jerky on the plus, the old s2 smoother. So, the plus gives you NFC (anyone using it? I thought not) and adds glonas for slightly better GPS usage. But it gives about 250% less usable RAM (and some apps can't be run from micro sd) and has a less capable chipset which in my experience of direct comparison is visibly inferior absolutely every time you swipe the screen. The seem to be more minuses than 'plusses' with the plus.

I actually bought this phone and I really like it. The screen is a notch better than the original S2 (white is whiter), camera is better and it has NFC. Batterytime is exellent. The phone is fast and fluid throughout the whole UI (as fast as my S3 actually)
Would recommend it :)
