I had bought nokia lumia 620 lately and only thing which disappoints me is the notifications. No proper notifications as compared to android and ios devices. Is there anything that could be done to get push notifications ??

Windows Phone is do more then wat other phones do,.. But still it lags on some basic features available in other cheap phones. Windows Phone will be more amazing, If the following features are rectified,
# Gif image animation in gallery
# File Manager for gallery and other stuffs
# Call duration should be displayed in call log
# Native Video call
# Pdf reader auto text alignment of clear readability
# Phone storage cleaner for smooth using
# Camera auto timer Option
# Gallery files rename option
# Dail search in phone menu for quick contacts search
# USB Mass storage
# Bluetooth Name change option
# App installation on external memory Option
# Separate ring tone as well as msg tone for individual contacts (optional)
# On screen Caller image display for both incoming and outgoing, also for incoming messages.
# customization of Alert sounds, and ring tones.
# 'undo' and 'select all' option in text, office, onenote & and others

Please do not buy this phone. It has a terrible battery life. On a 3G network, auto brightness, with 1 email syncing on push and average use, it lasts only 14 hours. You have to charge the phone twice in a day. I thought only I had issues, but when i searched, seems that every one has this problem. Worst! Nokia doesn't even acknowledge the problem.

I love my little Nokia 620. It's quick, great usability and the best thing of all - on sunny days, the screen is easily readable (unlike my NoteII). It's pocket friendly, not too heavy and feels like a quality phone (no creaks). My only wish - a slightly bigger screen - the thick black bezel on the bottom of the phone (which houses the navigation keys) is a waste of precious screen space. For £150 (sim free) it is a bargain budget phone with premium features (NFC, Sound enhancement, stereo bluetooth, dual core, 5MP camera and front facing camera)

> In reply to yayaya @ 2013-03-15 08:27 from uCcw - click to readRIM was KING from the beginning. This positions was captured by Apple in almost 2010. RIM was on its own, and Apple is on its own. KING should be on its own. Nokia on WP, All other hellers of the whole world on android. I don't hate anybody but if you started with RIM, I'll defend.

WhatsApp, we chat, viber i had the worst experience with L620, WhatsApp works a way better in even 5233 compared to this phone Too slow internet speed in 2G, it is a turtle in case of surfing. Absence of file manager irritates alot. Worst multitasking experience coz when u go back to previous task it resumes it....
