Just to avoid getting the error of memory full please delete some data.

I'm guessing from your obvious wit and glowing personality the writing on the accompanying card looked alot like your own? I wasn't making the claim that the S2 was the ultimate in dpi, obviously the higher the number the better (even if the human eye can't distinguish the difference above 300 from a normal use distance). The poi t I was making was that if someone is going to slate a phone for having such a bad display they need to consider the target audience and cost of manufacture. I'm sure Nokia would gladly put a 440dpi 1080 screen on the 620 like Sony have on the Xperia Z, but I'm not sure the Xperia Z £550-£600 price tag would sit well with the younger audience Nokia are hoping will buy it.

> In reply to MTF @ 2013-02-15 09:25 from JAxQ - click to readNote 2 has 267 PPI and thats probably its biggest disadvantage. For me its the main reason why i am changing to Xperia Z.

If S2 is the ultimate PPI for you then its good for you, i can only imagine how thick reading glasses you have if you think S2 is great, you are so farsighted that you need a pushcart to support the weight of your eyeglasses when you go out.

The S2 display was already a bit bad in 2011 and is totally sub par now. My phone in 2011 had 265 PPI, same as Note 2, it was ok back then but today 265 seems like neanderthal to me.

SGS III Mini really isn't the same price as Lumia 620 though. You might find Mini in rebate at almost the same price as the STARTING price of 620, but thats as close as it gets. Closest these two seem to be available currently is in Brit AMZ(620=217,39£ and Mini=244,00£) and even there the price difference is 11%. Normally price difference seems to be around 21%.

At least I wouldn't say these cost the same, in the same price range.. maybe for now. But you know how Nokia pricing works, they will come significantly down in 2-3 months time, by 20% probably.

This phone is a must have... but only if you must have things like Windows Phone 8 or 5mp cameras. Or colourful back panels... Or a certain flair and la dee dah sense of aristocracy. Otherwise avoid

Samsung design is clearly outclassed here, even the Huawei looks better. The Lumia and Xperia are stunning. Nokia and Sony are clearly back in their element.
