Xein, 19 Apr 2013For me, it is just don't like to see a cheap plastic look in my hand, that is it. I really lik... moreFor myself, it will be different. I will be getting a casing for the phone for sure. Perhaps a premium casing too. Because I will be using the phone most of the time, than actually admiring how nice the finishing or design is, functions of a phone is more important to me. No matter how beautiful a design is, one will get bored of it over time but not functions and speed. I can admire much better higher resolution photos while a very sleek looking phone which produces mere 4MP photos. I can toggle switches easily via the pull down notification shade while a aluminum built phone will require additional steps whenever the user need to toggle wifi / bluetooth, etc (out of the box). I can rearrange home screens as and when I like while this can't be done on the One and only phone.... Feasibility functions > looks.
So, with a premium casing, finger prints or not, is not longer an issue. Glass, aluminum or plastic will not be a matter anymore to me.
rmt, 19 Apr 2013no radio for s4.,is it possible to download fm radion from applications
Your joking right?
You can download digital music apps.
FM radio requires hardware.. ie an FM receiver.

maybe in software s4 is a perfect but in special point it place back to htc one..
I think one is most intelligent phone since now..easily I prefer design and build quality in one then go for other abilities..
Dm0ney, 18 Apr 2013Considering most people use covers, sleeves, and/or protective cases on their phone. Why is it... moreYes but not all... I never use a plastic/cover to cover my phone... I choose it because of its look and design also, so I don't want to cover it... Usually people who cover it is someone who expects that someday they resell it, they still get the good price, but for me, I set 1 year zero depreciation on all my phone I bought...
SunOnYee, 19 Apr 2013What's wrong with plastic really??! Does it cuts your hands or what? Why do you people like to... moreFor me, it is just don't like to see a cheap plastic look in my hand, that is it. I really like the features and hardware of Galaxy4, I give 10 out of 10, but I prefer to have phone that score 9 out of 10 in performance and feature but also mark score 10 out of 10 in look and built quality... Actually I am using HTC Butterfly and it is the perfect combination of performance vs design, maybe the One is even better...
SunOnYee, 19 Apr 2013What's wrong with plastic really??! Does it cuts your hands or what? Why do you people like to... moreNo doubt this is a very well spec'ed phone. It is the impressiveness of the phone that makes many complain about the plastic casing. It is like buying the best spec'ed Ferrari with a plastic interior.
I really hate it when the shiny plastic gets slightly oily - feels yucky. For that matter, I do not like glass finishing as well. Metallic matte finishing is the best.
Apart from the look and feel, there is some functional advantage of aluminum casing. Check out the drop test between the S3 and iPhone.
DQ, 19 Apr 2013What is a Hygroscope? "main features" ;-)http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Hygroscope
Its design is lyk s3 but hey guys using aluminium in it would Hav made it more costly ..... But we all loved the software tricks of s4 which the htc cant even offer..... we love the s4 but not its DESIGN :p
Don't fix what isn't broken. Samsung's exterior design is pure function. It fits the controls and the great 5" display as minimally as possible. HTC One already looks cluttered with its speakers on the front, design lines on the back and unnecessary beats audio branding. Functional is timeless whereas trying to be fashionable looks bad sooner than you think.
Anonymous, 02 Apr 2013Troll or not, I say the truth, android has icon tap tap like symbiam 20 years ago, come on guy... moreWin 8 (the OS with missing Start button), or the Windows Phone 8? Please confirm. Win 8 is for computers, while WP8 is the mobile platform.
FYI, you cannot even attach multiple file types of email attachments into a single email on WP8. Try it yourself. See if you can attach a word docu and an excel file together in a single email? So much for a smart phone OS which can't even do simple task like this.
WP8 is the worst mobile OS I ever used TBH.
nato, 18 Apr 2013I dont know about you. For me S 1,2,3 feeling like cheap plastic. And now the S4 goes the same... moreWhat's wrong with plastic really??! Does it cuts your hands or what? Why do you people like to carry much heavier materials like glass or metal? Don't you know polycarbonate or plastic are more resistance to scratches? But anyways, if plastics is hitting you right in the nerves, go back to your more "premium" phones then. Someone else who appreciate S4 will take your place in queue for the phone.
j-indian, 19 Apr 2013my dear friend, I challenge you to open the back cover and push the back cover on both far end... moreWhy not you try using a hammer to hammer the glass or aluminum to see which last longer? Your challenge is moot.
Tom-Helge, 18 Apr 2013What you feel in the hand doesn't say anything about what the material is made out of. Yes,... moremy dear friend, I challenge you to open the back cover and push the back cover on both far ends each by an angle of 60 degree, and let's see the strength of poly carbonate, MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU
Samsung? That was the hardware supplier for Apple chips, which got out of deals in favor of another Asian manufacturer?
Considering most people use covers, sleeves, and/or protective cases on their phone. Why is it a big deal about the look/design of the S4 when the back will be covered?
