But when it comes to the very high-end, luckily for everybody, there are not that many options. Every manufacturer has a single flagship and that's it. Or is it? Last time we checked...

It still has work in optimizing considering it's the firs of it's kind obviously and the A-15's as well are not as optimized yet. You can only expect better from it in time. You obviously don't understand the tech or the word gimmick. Beats is a gimmick. Things like dual, quad, FHD, Octa, ultra pixel, and so forth are not gimmicks.

Hey man. I just am just amazed with Samsung’s ability to produce a mobile we don’t really need and have it sell like crazy for little reason apart from vanity. Very cool indeed. Love it. Me – well, I don’t really have to work hard so my mobile phone is a very well paid personal assistant, so in fact I don’t have a mobile and I do enjoy my life instead of farting around on the mobile. I just look at emails every now and then and continue with my travels to where ever.

Ony octa has wolfson dac inside, maybe with a good headphone some audiophiles can hear the difference.

so octacore battery performance as samsung said will be longer, but according to gsmarena qualcomm's chipset is better... as a conclusion, its a GIMMICK

I don't know why but my S4 i9505 sound gets distorted in high volume and tried different head phones, I don't know if this is a common problem with everyone

this does not make it any easy, you wait all this time for the S4 and they come up with two versions, this is so confusing, I spent the last 2 months confused thanks very much Samsung.

GSMArena, do both versions use the same GPS receiver? If not, is there a difference in performance between the two? How fast do they get a lock with A-GPS turned off? How do they fare at high speeds in a car?

the difference of perfoemance is only on paper. i have tested myself both verions,BOTH ARE IDENTICAL FAST IN REALITY. i work at orange. the difference of stand-by and talk time combined is very big between the quad and octa: the quad last one day more, over the octa version. plus octacore doesn't have lte. octacore is pure and simple USELESS

I really appreciate it so we can somehow fill some Dimwit's empty heads around here ^_^

Galaxy Exynos won in every aspect against Galaxy Qualcomm and its documented in a video by very trusted channel in Youtube "pocketnowvideo"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wt5im3WAZYc
Note than Exynos is clocked to 1.6 GHZ while Qualcomm to 1.9 GHZ so Qualcomm has 1.2 GHZ.

1-In 02:05 Exynos boot up faster than Qualcomm.
2-In 02:55 Exynos won in 8/7 of benchmarks.
3-In 03:26 Qualcomm shows stutters when all feature of Galaxy S4 are on while Exynos run with no stutters.
4-In 04:00 Exynos opens apps faster than Qualcomm.
5-In 04:33 Qualcomm lags in HD games while Exynos doesn't.
6-In 05:12 Exynos proved to have longer battery life than Qualcomm, and note they disabled LTE in Qualcomm to make the test fair enough 06:29.
