Why Sony preferred 5 inch display on their Z1 rather than 5.2 inch display on LG G2 because it saved up more power because bigger screen does eat more power.

Copy? Why, are we not on the same planet? What is 1 equal to? S4 is made popular due to billions spent on advertisement, people ignorantly believe that popularity equates to quality. Regardless of a newer SOC on G2, it beats the S4 in many ways especially on camera performance.

Great review. I have a question for you about sunlight readability. In terms of peak brightness the LG G2 had a maximum score of 667 which almost at the top.

You also say: "LG has done great in minimizing the screen's overall reflectiveness"

Why then does it score so poorly in the Sunlight contrast ratio test, scoring only 1.976 (less than half of the best scores)?

Hope Sony doesn't dissapoint with honami in either pricing or bad battery life...otherwise G2 will take the crown.

predictions for "PHONE" of the year:
1st place:- Sony Xperia Z1(honami)
2nd place:- LG G2
3rd place:- Samsung Galaxy S4

unless Samsung drops a bomb like galaxy S4 pro later this year...with IP57 certification,3GB ram,OIS,16mpx camera,latest exynos 5420/snapdragon 800,4000 mah battery.

LG may have a winner here as long as they do not mess up with updates. This can really be very successful if they are able to update it to 4.3 within a month.

I'm impressed by LG's efforts this time around. Very good display, snappy performance, one of the best cameras, decent battery life... but, but, it does have its share of negatives: The physical design is mediocre, cartoonish UI, lack of microSD.

While Xperia Z1 beats G2 in physical design, UI and availability of microSD.. it would be interesting to see how its camera and battery life fare.

LG UI is a complete copycat of Touchwiz, just look at the Camera UI, Smart screen, Smart Video, etc...
