Agree... simple phones are not 'bad', they just either talk and text, or like this one have a simple VGA camera (like we all had until about 2005) and basic wap access for quick news bites and sports results. Alcatel produce very good phones; their other business is in space science and communications and while the phones may not look as classy as a sony ericsson or nokia, they know what they're doing.
