Are you telling us that htc has the resources to produce great phone but does not the resources to produce commercials for their devices? Lol. Htc has been around longer than the iphone, and you're telling us that they cannot afford ads? Lol.

> In reply to Mitch @ 2009-12-09 17:34 from IsiH - click to readAre you sure you have the iphone? Lol. Let me tell you why I doubt you.

The call quality can be improved but it doesn't suck at all. I can hear the other person clearly on the other line and vice versa. At&t's signal strength sucks though. The iphone has the best music reproduction barnone, and I really doubt that htc hd could even come close. Look at the tests. The iphone's screen set up is much better than folders. You can move the icons around in a way that you can have all games on one page, communication apps on another, and so on and so forth. Didn't you know that? As for native icons that you cannot delete and don't want to use, you can always move them to the last page so you wouldn't ever have to see them. Didn't you know that either? The clock is always live and is always on the top of your screen. Didn't you know that? As for the weather, it's 1 tap and it opens right away. How often do you look at the weather in one day that you always want it live. It's not like it's going to jump from 90 degrees to 40 degrees in 1 minute, lol. Who needs an fm tuner when you have pandora radio and tons of songs saved in your iphone? Are commercials that important to you?

So I really doubt if you really have the iphone :)

HTC dont have the resources to advertise on the same scale as apple

and let's face it, nobody is buying the iphone for its hardware

I always wondered about that, thanks for letting us know.

Forgot two important things. Check your data plan, this phone is a data hog. The battery life is poor.

It's obvious you don't do photo editing on your phone.

Visible pixels?

Only if you hold an iPhone 2" from your nose and who does that?

Come back when the HD2 sells more than 20 million.

> In reply to Chris_Skylock @ 2009-12-09 14:00 from t7Ga - click to readI am in the telecomms industry and the HTC Hero is a better product than the apple i-phone. The i-phone is excellent, however the Hero has been tried and tested and came out top in most reviews. It has also been voted gadget of the year....so to all the non-believers, HTC have been making devices for donkeys years, and apple certainly know how to market their product!! Hence most people think that the iphone is the only device worth getting.....how very wrong most people are!!!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-12-08 23:02 from P%nm - click to readoh yeah you're right, a 320x480 res screen is far better than an 800x480 one?!

er how about no?!

and i've had phones with 65k colour screens in the past and i also currently have one with a 16m screen (samsung innov8) and i cannot notice the difference at all.

but 800x480 is breathtaking, where as you can make out individual pixels on the iphone's screen. (you can on the horrible innov8 screen too)

but yeah, come on apple, higher res screen next time

I dumped my HTC HD for the iphone. The reason why I made the change: the hassle of dealing with Windows Mobile 6.1. The HTC HD is a beautiful piece of hardware, the phone is amazing on all aspects, but WM killed the experience for me. During 8 months I used the HTC HD, there were countless soft resets & freezing, and four hard resets. I like the iphone because it works, the apps are practical, and they save time when looking for info. However, the iphone is far from perfect and it’s limiting. The call quality sucks, sound from the ipod when playing music is not as good as the HTC HD... It desperately needs a customable EQ. The resolution compared to the HTC HD is poor. Why can I not created files to store all the icons on one page by category, I have four pages of icons, it is annoying flipping through them all. Why can I not delete icons I rarely use like, the compass, weather (I have an app for that) calculator, notes... why are the clock and weather icons not live like the calendar? In addition, there is no FM tuner! In brief, it is a glorified ipod, they just stuck a cell antenna in it but its works, and that is what is important to me until WM 7 arrives. Hopefully Microsoft will get their act together and make it work as well as the iphone.

continuous user, great phone, mastered it, even make my own apps, only thing 3gs SHOULD HAVE DONE is to have locked the 3.0 OS to 3GS exclusive releasing it to earlier models, means the 3GS is unless, too expensive, ...having said...anyone bring me a phone that can compete with iphone, why you all following iphone all you brands?

> In reply to nick @ 2009-12-08 22:38 from nxwR - click to readYou obviously didnt read my post clearly, I said that HTCs has more 65k touchscreens that ARE NOT YET READY TO FIGHT THE CAPACITIVE of iPhone. Please dont use such words as you didnt understood my post.

Only a handful touchscreen phones that are in the same league as the iPhone has been released. Im talking about the 16M capacitive phones but looking at most phones, it seems that they're only in the 65k range. A few has tried to match the iPhone
