Just remember.. You need a post paid plan for these phones.. Hook up to the black berry server for a small cost extra per month.. Otherwise no data support

im thinking of purchasing me one, the 9700 bold ofcourse. only reason why im being two minded is because im a nokia user all the years and actually would never want to change my brand of choice because of its durablity. shouldn i or should i not? and please dont come with your salesperson language or try to pitch me some cheap chinese replica with ther entire BlackBerry in lower case characters like 'blacKbery', you guys know what im talking about. so some positive advice would be acceptable and greatly appreciated and please who ever want to come with their bombay psycology replies i would advise you to go sell it baghdad.

The reason it did was because Sir Jobs at first said "you're holding it wrong, there is no problem" and then said "it's not a common issue, a SW update will fix it" and then "fine, it is an issue but since we want you to know that we love you and we want you to love us too, we'll give everyone a free case". This was the worst way for a CEO to respond to the customers. He should've acknowledged it from the beggining and tried to fix it ASAP. But, since he didn't he was caught in this mess and, to make it worst, he wanted to drag in other companies as well.

> In reply to LaLa MaMa @ 2010-07-19 05:27 from PSvP - click to readI agree. I have the 8520 and I too lose signal, but only when I'm home. When I leave, I enter an area with better coverage, so my BB doesn't lose any bars or it'll lose 1 or 2 and come back. It's a common issue with any phone, the point Apple didn't seem to accept is that their "jesus phone" would drop that signal while holding it normally. This was due to the fact that their antenna is placed where one's hand will easily come in contact with it while in use. Our BB's don't drop that many bars while in normal use. At least, not as easily as the iPhone 4.

All I'm saying is as far as my 9700 is concerned, Apple proved their point. My BB is not defective by any means. It works perfectly and I love it. I'm just posting what I noticed on my BB. That's all!
