I'm told that the touchscreen on BBs are not the same as on other touch phones. As in the BB we have to actually press on specific icons rather than be able to glide your finger on the screen. Is this true even for the Storm 2 9550?

Does anyone know why the new BB Bold that is coming out has a larger battery capacity and faster processor than the Storm 2???
I would think that the Storm would need both of these rather than the Bold due to its larger screen. The Bold is a nice looking phone as well but its only for ATT and Tmobile so I won't be getting one anyway.

Hey all ,
I'm a BB lover and I think this device will beat many other devices on the market as soon as it's out ... So all what I can say to those who are BB haters is to watch ur back away cuz u'll be ashamed . Cheers !!

i think that the talk time in 3G is wrong..cuz talk time in 3G should be less than 2G as it drains alot of power

If you like BB, just get with QWERTY key and not touchscreen. GO for SAMSUNG OMNIA 2 or iPhone if you like the touchscreen phone...
First STORM make me dissapointed..just change to BOLD,really amazing..when the BOLD 2 launch i will consider it too....

BEWARE !!
The earlier version BB Storm 9500 was
SUPER FLOP considering battery life. It hardly had stand-by time of 2-3 hrs. in one charge (leave aside talk-time) and had to be recharged 3-4 times in a single day depending upon usage. It really was disappointing for all early birds and most of them had to dump those for price of peanuts.
Though specs. on gsmarena.com shows talk-time of 5:30 mins.& standy-by of 360 hrs. But truly it isn't. Don't know why they haven't changed that info. Also don't know why a company like BB released such a poor performer and if they did, why didn't they withdrew it quickly.
So pls. BEWARE before buying BB Storm 2.
