Yeah 3G should be standard. Tethering a smartphone as a hotspot is good here and there but the it chews the phones battery so it's not efficient. With a tablets and it's larger battery 3G always on is so much better. I'ts a big loss that manufactur...

Use your phone as a hotspot.. most people who are willing to get the best should have a phone that has hotspot capabilities. No need for 3g and pay extra

Without the 3G the pad looses mobility, for that I get a desktop!
