my unit got hot after 10 min of phone or GPS use and then the screen also got malfunctions.

OT: I have this phone and nothing but soft- and hardware trouble. Power button keeps getting defect and software trouble concerns the camera.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I have been using this phone since 1 year.
No doubt this is the perfect phone. It has almost all features but 3 things I missed that are business card feature, zoom during video recording and the typed number during call disappears at call end.

it went white with a load of writing saying stuff like [POWER]for next page and i pressed it and it wouldnt let me off it, then it went onto a black screen with a '!' in a triangle and the little android alien looking at the sign, it wont come off, what do i do or what does it mean?!?!?

I have been using N1 for about 8 months. The power button on my Nexus One stopped working. In order to replace the power button, you have to replace one of the two boards. (The IO Board).

As the indicator lights remove the battery and reconnect immediately. the phone will be switched on
if your power button is not functioning, use the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.destil.fixbrokenpb&feature=search_result and change the power button to volume keys
Make sure that you recharge the phone before the battery runs empty. otherwise you need to again restart the phone by the way i have mentioned above.
