I was wondering how come when i take a picture using my camera, it's clear but when I set it as a background, it's not that clear. Can someone tell me how to do it so it's clear. Thanks.

hey you have to go to where you want to save the file and then press the menu button and go to recieve bluetooth file

It is a very good phone.It is much better than the BB8170g.This has a very good look and its performance is unable to beat.I owned the SE K790i but it was not that good.But the BB pearl8100 is very cute. There are no phones yet which can match its text writing.This phone has a very good scroll which is very comfortable.Its internet link is vey fast and it has good T9 thing.You better own one today!It has all the standard features a phone may have but it is one step ahead from all phones

Why I am not prompted with the option 'Blackberry Internet Service Option' in the setup wizard? I only have two options - 'I want to use a work email account with Blackberry with a Blackberry Enterprise Server' and 'I want to skip email set up'.
Is there anything I could do to correct this?

For a company that has been around for this long and has the resources that they would have, I can't believe the level of crap software and little testing they get await with!
After reading endless forums I haven't found anyone that is completely happy with ANY BlackBerry phone. Everyone seems to have a problem with phones, software or both.
It seems that the testing and development of a most, if not all, of their phones are seriously lacking.
What sort of effect does this level of trash product, development and test have on general consumers/users. For me, I am a IT recruiter and if I ever see a developer or testers CV, where their employer was RIM - I couldn't present that person to a client! I have lost all faith in RIM and their people.

just bought a bluetooth stereo headset and was wondering if the pearl is compatible because i have paired the devices connceted them, voice works but when i try to listen to music using the stereo headset it goes on speaker eventhough the connection is still solid. can anyone help me , please email me something to do with advance audio option (thats what the headset is compatible with)

Having trouble with ringtones that I have downloaded. I am using them to know who is calling me. I have saved them to the No. I want but the right ringtone still doesn't ring. i even took the No. out of the sim side of phonebook to see if that would work, it did not. How can I get it to work on the No I assign it to?

my pearl does not recognise callers' numbers unless their no ID appears exactly the same as the number stored in the phone book. consequently, numbers frequently don't get recognised. Is there some kind of fix for this?

i have a new blackberry, but i'm wondering how can i put music into my phone, i tried many times by plugging in the USB that they provide but when i click in the screen from the CD they still say that i have to plug in a USB..if anyone know how to fix this problem please help...thx a lot

I think the phone is excellent except for the camera. The photos produced are as if you are using an infrared heat sensitive camera. This can't be right is it the set up or is it faulty?
