bb aws a great smartphone which has been use in nigeria over some years,i use the same bb but i dont have the acceess to browse with the internet, ping and some other things.... how am i going to this?

There is no problem with this BB. I use it in Nigeria with MTN and is good for browsing. I also do pin-pin with my friends here in Nigeria and abroad.

I just subscribe yesterday to mtn data plan with this old bb8830.but It can't still browse.am scare since a friend told me that this model can't browse or ping.I called mtn and they said that it requires a manual configuration.pls how can I activate the phone to browse

Dial ##000000 and you will get some information on your screen, there mention your mobile number under mobile directory number, enter country code as 091 or 0091 under country code and say save.-now your phone will automatically get restarted and the message disappears
