Hi friends,
I am using S8500 since long.I used to connect wi fi when I was using BSNL broad band.Recently I changed the service provider and I started using Tikona service.My mobile shows wi fi connectivity but internet asses is not possible.every time I start it says DNS failed.Can any one help me get rid of this problem

dear friends,i purchased my wave s8500 in 2010.now i am using bada 1.2 on my phone.but i want to use 2.0 so,please tell me the release date of bada 2.0 in india.not through kies.

This phone is very light and its pretty good looking, the battery lasts 3-4 days (I don't talk on the phone that much) and the touch screen is very very good. I have bluetooth in my car, but the loundspeaker on this phone is so good that I don't turn on the bluetooth anymore. Overall I’m very happy with this phone; the only downside is the BADA OS.

Dear Friends, I purchased Samsung Wave S8500, but getting the error message 3013 while downloading from Samsung Apps. so please advise, how can i solve & remove this msg i.e "This account cannot be used in this country. Exit samsung apps and go to my accounts to sign out (3013)". Im in Kuwait and try to sign with different ID, including gmail account, but problems remains same and give same error sign in. Is there anyway to fix this error.

Samsung has slowly and deliberately disabled the home key. It's now totally dead and pretty much useless. Can no longer take screenshots of my phone and run the Task Manager.

still no bada 2.0 in pakistan. waiting waiting waiting !please post asap when it is available in Pakistan . btw LG optimus 4x is best mobile in my opinion till now not s3. better screen simple good design . tegra 3 nvidia .

I am using official version of BADA 2.0 since 10days, although its interface is a mixture of iOS n android but is slow, is missing some essential features of 1.0/1.2. However is good to use in many ways, but i am having some problems, my phone sometimes automatically comes into silent mode while it is still in the general mode. I dont know why???
Anyways am just waiting for galaxy S3's launch in India to replace it with my wave, though wave is a good phone, its OS is not & thus i wouldn't recommend it to anyone as OS nowadays are more important as they are the brains of smartphones.

Found a way to make a draft message:
- Write your message and save it under scheduled (same key as join a picture)
- When you want to use it again, long press on it to copy text, write a new message, and paste the text

At last Bada 2 coming to Thailand with Kies! But what a disappointment... 1.2 was far better and easier to use. All that time for that ? Not even a draft folder in messages. And everything in the phone was wiped off because of the upgrade. Trust me, stay with Bada 1.2. Of course all new games need bada 2, but they are all crap.

All the few interesting games and apps are for Bada 2, and there is no upgrade to Bada 2 for my Wave 1 from Thailand...Waiting to buy Sony Xperia P as soon as possible. Fed up of Samsung.
