if I need to brows internet, I prefer using my laptop or tablet. for the telephony, sms and simple email the Nokia 52 is sufficient.

i have a problem with my e52. when updated the software for the first time something changed in display in the bottom of the screen. if i set a wallpaper it displays separated in the bottom and at the top of the screen . can somebody help me out about this??

my e52 can download and install facebook and ebuddy chat but any time i opens, it says connection failled. It also cannot download and instal kjv of bible. Can some body help me ?

Please take my advise , go for Nokia E52, It is really worth it, I am using the cell for almost a year , and it has a class of its own , you will love it, Resale value is great , features are awesome.

Don't worry about what it can't do. What it does do, it does well and the battery life is unmatched by any phone I have matched it against.

What it can't do:
No flash websites, no streaming video, no flash streaming audio, loads only webpages under 3.5MB (it's got pitiful ram), the earpiece is useless (use headphones) and texting with a numerical keypad take FOREVER.

What it can do:
Streams most internet radio, surfs best with opera mobile, great bluetooth range, gps without cell coverage, nokia maps navigation, wifi G with very good range, good external speaker, video calling!, 40+ hours of mp3 play, good pictures if you adjust the settings right, push to talk.

The software is the key. I once googled how you install programs with bogus certificates (you have to install and remove anti virus, then it accepts any cert) and the outdated certificate error can be fixed by changing the phone's date.

The best software to install is j2me programs, even cracked, seem to work well.

Podcasting was the big missing factor. I found an old version of nokia podcast software, made a bogus certificate and got it to install. That worked ok, but old versions of escarpod worked just as well (cert date error fixed by changing the phone's current year).
Did I mention the battery life was phenomenal?
It recharges when you plug in the USB data cord.
I would only part with this phone if it blew up or I died.
Three years now, in my front pocket climbing mountains and only the screen face needs fixing.
