i know that wave cant stay in top rank now coz there are much better phones available in market. I am also using gs2 from last seven month and its way better than wave, but i love wave too coz i used it 14 months .

When wave disappear from top list i really fell it
i just want to bring back it in top 3 phones even just for one day
it will show our love and respect to our beloved phone

all wave user please vote it this weekend 10 10 10

Its time to another mobile or even another manufacter now to achieve 10-10-10. My vote isnt going to my wave anymore. After waiting, after upgrading to bada 2.0, my wave doesnt deserve to be on the top of list.
( But still love my Wave )

You have to touch the screen to focus (at begining of recording) and when you go to close object you have to touch the screen again. So you have to touch the screen to focus when you are changing distance of objects...

hey wave user
this post is for those who knows whereabouts about updating the firmware
yesterday night i was jst going thru wave series where i encontered wave m

so my confusion us:
cant we port bada 2.0 wch is on wave m
since its processor is slightly underclocked and the only difference is picxel density
so is there any leaked rom of wave m so tht we can update our wave 1 to bada 2.0 of wave m????

With Bada 2 do you have autofocus when video recording ?

Is the sound better when recording in a loud place like disco ?

Hello everyone - I LOVE MY WAVE!! I particularly love playing in samsung apps! My dilemma however, is that I have bada 1.0 on my wave, & they've added heaps of new apps/themes etc that are only compatible with bada 2.0. It is driving me nuts that I keep finding apps I like, only to learn that they're bada 2.0 apps!! and let's be honest, even if I could get a hold of bada 2.0, it sounds very unstable! If anyone knows how to refine the search in SamsungApps.com to include only bada 1.0 apps/themes, please help me. Thanks in advance.

In bada 1.2 I have really great camera, fast reactions, games has no lags etc.
Now in bada 2.0 I have bad camera, photos taken in bada 2.0 has a grey noise, video recording isnt working properly (still geting message in 720p or 480p recording: Memory card doesnt support this type of resolution), reactions has sometimes lags and games are really laggy (asphalt 6) and thats not all. Incame message has no information from sender only his phone number (this problem can be solved by deleting +421 in contact), widgets are switching off itself, themes with live wallpaper slow down my wave, gallery has lags and the most annoying thing is unlocking only with unlock key.

On the other side Bada 2.0 looks like android now, camera has now touch focus function, this works in video recording too. One more thing I like is that I can choose backround wallpaper and lock wallpaper.

So what else can I tell you? In the beginning I was so excited but now I only want to downgrade to my beloved bada 1.2...

U didn't mention the amount of RAM. It's 256 mb RAM.

downloaded bada 2.0 and let me just say DONT DO IT..it deletes everything that's not stored on your memory card; your phone contacts, your messages/emails and their settings, your t9 dictionary, EVERYTHING. There offcourse is a backup process during the instalation, but this being Samsung, the backup in Kies doesn't work. Kies actually doesn't work at all, it just freezes the computer when you go into the app store, but that's a story for another time.

And what do you get in the 2.0?..Well, everything looks alot better, and somehow nicer, but that's about it. Imo, samsung tried to make bada look like android so hard that they totally remade it and forgot to put in the things that actually made bada great.

So now, the middle diamond button doesn't get you into the menu; it does nothing at all, you can't call/msg contact by swiping left/right on their names, you cant set the screen brightness from the movie player, if you want to connect in usb-stick mode, you have to specify it by going through 10 menus (no more "ask when connected") and what bothers me the most, unlocking it; Bada 1.2 had an option where you could turn on the screen with any button and then just swipe across it to unlock. This was ofc great, but now the only button that turns on the screen is the unlock button which is pretty much a pain in the ass to press. So if you want to unlock it, you have to

1. press the unlock button
2. swipe across screen or hold down unlock button

OR (you're gonna love this) you can use the "intelligent" new way to unlock it

1. press the unlock button
2. put your finger on the screen
3. shake the phone violently 3 times while holding your finger on the screen

it takes about 10 seconds to unlock it this way, and why would anybody do it is beyond me, but that's what's new in bada 2.0

Anyway, bada 1.2 was great, but if this is what Wave III has, than I really don't see why anyone in their right mind would chose a new bada phone over some android or iphone

Bass is too boosted and I can hear hisses. Maybe it's just me.
