Have used it for abt 4 yrs .I have dropped it on hard surfaces more than 10 times (unintentionally) Never gave me any prob. Button colors have fade out.ear bud is dying but I am totally happy I purchased it.I have used it for maximum. Unless some OS and few other improvements these days I would have bought the same phone again. Honestly I haven't seen better music quality on recently bought latest phones of my friends.Not even SE. That's disappointing.

This is a brilliant phone for people who only really want a phone for calls, texting and pictures. It is so easy to use and if you don't want a touchscreen phone like myself, then I thoroughly recommend this one. I have now had my phone for 4 years and it stills works perfectly well. It takes photos that are just as good as a camera. It does have several other features if you want to use them and it is also a very good walkman to.

its suport skype but not all version. I am ustng this phone ower 2 years with skype but it not i dont have found any app with video chat for now. The phone is good for his time and has app old 2 years, no body will make some new app wor A200 platfotm they make for android. I just love mu w 995

I have a problem with memory card, when inserted into the phone, reads some of the minute, then it is not registering. does anyone know what the problem?

does anyone know if this sony ericsson model is capable of some kind of wifi powered video chat app like iphone's facetime? maybe skype? i don't wanna have to pay att video chat charges. thanks.

So my cousins have iphones and i am on the att network with them as well. iphones have facetime that can be used throughout the world when they have a good wifi connection and we all travel a lot so this is very important to keep in touch. does this sony ericsson model have any sort of wifi run app such as facetime so i can connect with them with the videocall camera? can i get skype for it? other possibilities? i just don't wanna pay att videocall fees. thanks.

With a few apps and games installed it slows the phone down - good job I didnt completely fill 8gb memory card! I could get just as good pics from k770i cybershot which was only 3.2mp cam! W995 definitely NOT quality that 8mp cam should be! The lights wouldnt go out once - both walkman and normal lights were stuck on for 3hours even with the power off! W910i had similar problems although w995 not as bad! Speakers were superb on mine no problem ever! Bass was clear but not as loud in the headphones as w910i or k770i! Buttons was good no probs! Lot better than other se models! One phone I want is the S003 as it has 12mp cam, 1ghz processor and incredible screen! Only prob is japan only but its a w995 thrasher! Look at the specs of it!

nope, not as best as others (that are using rhythmic LED light). But they also bores me cause i'm bored with SAME ORANGE LED colour.. Wake up sony, try to design other stylish LED design (with different colour of course) yet heighten the quality... I'm just using it for 4 months, but i gotten hotter at back battery case, probably the battery problem i guess.. The ribbon also easy to tear up, making the screen dark (common slide handphone problem) ! Lame u.. Others go check at my other comments 'the wonderer'.. Same problem, same issue. I don't want to trust sony anymore...

forgot to mention that, although this phone was in walkman category, it didn't have a rhytmic LED light. Thats really awful, because those are the uniqueness of walkman series. I hope in a future, SONY will gain more ideas that will change the people mentality (showing that they have low quality, too many weakness) for their future products after broke up with 'Ericsson'.. Anyone with me ?
