VGA front camera, no MultiTouch... please modify it on specs..
overall pretty cool device.. im using it now while i wait for my motorola defy.
works just fine with flb mod 1.7 and better with overclock to 672mhz and microSD swap.
cyanogen makes it slow, and secondary camera works no more in that mod. too bad people stopped developing roms for this phone..

recently a member of my family tried to unlock my phone..tried several time and end up locking my phone. It say to log in with my google account to unlock it..when I tried..it cannot open so my phone is lock for a month now...Help please

This will solve some problems with freezing, but the device is getting slower depending on time since last boot. Looks like some memory leak. It's recommended to backup your files and phonebook entries.

Hi all,
Does it support video telephony? My firmware is 1.5 is there a way to upgrade?
Touch screen sometimes hang and strange alarm clock force close window appear from time to time!

I need to unlock my phone,there has been many attempts by some else to try and unlock it,so now it's requiring my gmail address and i cant remember the pass word,is there another way to unlock it??

you must to turn off your phone and hold volume key + and the red buton and then to tur on your phone then will boot your software from micro sd

Great phone so far, have had it for two weeks now, but can someone pls help me ugrade to 2.1, have downloaded the kernel from the huawei website, unzipped it to my microSD card but i get the following error "the upgrade package is not detected."

hi ive owned my u8220 since april 2010 it was bought as a present for my birthday of late it will not hold its charge for very long on standby it lasts about 3 hrs everything else about the fone is good except for this problem that has developed over the last month Can i return it to u for repair or replacement as surely its still under guarentee as its not yet 12 mths old regards steve ps feel free to contact me on my e-mail smusician2@aol.com
