infact the phone is not a good phone.it is just for fassion i think.it normally freezes and the worst thing thing about this phone is it's battery not good at all.

as compared to nokia 5235 . this phone has less specification .. though the price of this phone is less than nokia 5235.. more features shld be added to this phone like comopany can add features of makin this phone 3g or allow wi-fi system in it ..

As compaire to other company mobile,gs290 is good phone,Thing is that when the touch features craze is over then the model comes to the market properly.

NO Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate

eeer..... guys! i have this phone and i've read that there is an accelerometer, but i dont see that on my phone :) - should i enabled it somehow, or the specifics are wrong - so this phone doesnt have that. plz reply me

if LG WANTS TO CReate this phone demand and market in india, they has to look forward to its accessaries and packaging,,cause the corby phones......they attracts the customers with its accessaries..........................

lg always have a lack in each ans every handset. for eg. all cookie range phones kp500-too simple user interface cheap body construction and cheap accessaries. GD 510- LACK OF ACCessaries.cheap headphone,no leather case, gs 290-same accessaries like other cookies.falling down to compare with corby colour, gs 500 lack of wifi, lg km555 lack of 3g....... LG HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO IT...........FOR COMPETE AGAINST SAMSUNG..............................

Got one of these as a PAYG and for the price (£50 in Phones4U UK), it is very versatile and quite clever. However, the battery indicator is not accurate. After the first segment turns off to indicate 2/3 charge, the battery drains to zero in minutes. IE, the first segment seems to indicate 95% of the charge.

Anyone else notice this?

I'm about to buy a new phone after 3 years and I really like this one but I'm a bit sceptic because it's LG...
So can those who have it please tell me - is the battery any good? I need a phone to talk,text and listen music, and that's it..;) I'm having a dilema between this one and Samsung B3410...so please HELP ;)

I have purchased this phone, it is my 1st touch screen
mobile and it is Brilliant!! Really Easy & Fun to use!
I would highly recommend this LG GS290 to anyone,very
straight forward to use & uncomplicated. Great price too!! I give it 10 out of 10!! :)

Ì´d say that is basically a Pop with a 2MP camera, but with with a 3.5mm jack audio...

it looks quite good and has 3 inch scratch resistant display, accelometer, quite good camera, and 3,5mm headphone jack...
My life is pretty much about music and going out, not hanging on facebook etc. so i guess this phone is quite good for sharing pictures, music and video with friends or just watching and listening to these...

i've considered to buy this phone thanks to good price and good specifications... i guess it still is better than exploding iphone 3g or offline iphone 2g...

Geez, people this is a nice phone, with extra stuff. Its a nice phone.

Really nice one, I have it and it is nice.
But of course nothing can compare to SAGEM production, those are perfections, but this LG phone is quite cool, simple none expensive modern phone, what else can the one want, for serious stuff we have laptops you know, this LG is one good phone for people who can;t afford overpriced phones.
