Something like size of keypad can be subjective, and nobody knows the answers to your questions other than yourself.

Look at the size of the screen on Dext vs. E71/72, would it surprise you that the Dext requires more battery power?
If you like E71/E72, you should compare with Moto Q9/Q11, not the Dext.

I have this phone and it's really good, my BIGGEST gripe with it though, is the battery life. I was spoiled after owning an e71, but this phone will not get through a single day of use if you have push email enabled, and keep the motoblur interface running. I just find it odd that one of the main selling points of this phone renders it useless. Again, love the phone's design, motoblur is cool, the camera is actually GREAT, but, the battery life just doesn't work for me. Will probably get the e72.

With these phone Motorola had make a big advance,is really a cool and handy phone,works great,didnt liked motorola cz their phones were so boring...right now they are raising the brand with these one,only issue the keyboard,keys are so tiny,congrats motorola

This is a great device.. yes its a little heavy but you get used to it.. the keyboard is great and the touch screen is very responsive.. for that price is by far the best phone in the market.

This is a great phone, I really liked it. But it's too expensive (at least here, in Brazil). And the internet plans are expensive too.
But the functions and design are awesome. I never liked Motorola phones. But these one... If I had thew money to keep it, I would.

if you want get best smartphone or android phone at world you must get milestone
dext is not best android v1.5 around and not perfect
but still is one of best today
and some features at dext are unique
at last with very low price
dext is very beter choice
