> In reply to vish @ 2010-03-01 06:48 from vb$cHere is how it works:
Dext is the "European" version which supports GSM900/1800 (2G) and GSM2100 (3G), as well as GSM850/1900 (2G)
Cliq is the "US" version which supports GSM900/1800 (2G) and GSM850/1900 (2G&3G)

> In reply to jo @ 2010-02-28 20:36 from 3Pq%Cliq DOES NOT run on CDMA
In US (where most CDMA users are located), the CDMA Android phone is the Droid (being Milestone for GSM version)
The difference between Cliq & Dext indeed being the frequency, but NOT the system itself.
Cliq runs on GSM850/1900 3G, which Dext runs on GSM2100 3G (the latter being used by most GSM countries). Yet Cliq runs on GSM900/1800 (on 2G) as well.
So you can get a Cliq from US and the phone should work in other GSM countries (on 2G)
If you do know any Cliq running on CDMA, do let me know and US$20 is waiting for u to collect.

> In reply to adam @ 2010-02-26 19:07 from 3Wk6If u're merely asking if Android 2.0 is released, the answer is:
- Moto Milestone is "already" using Android 2.0. Indeed, the Milestone I'm using now runs on Android 2.0.1
- Google Nexus One (made by HTC) is running on Android 2.1
But when will Android 2.0 be available for Dext/Cliq is something only Moto knows.
If you're choosing between N900, chances are you need to look into Milestone instead of Dext, unless you really like the design of Dext (which I do, but Dext is not available where I live)

> In reply to kirawa @ 2010-02-22 18:34 from 39xZsimply NOT possible with its current Android 1.5 OS. You'll have to wait til Moto officially says Cliq/Dext can be upgraded to Android 2.0.

> In reply to Hannan @ 2010-02-12 17:06 from RbX0Alright, I figured out why the CLIQ always freezes with texts, etc. All you have to do, is delete all of your saved texts and maybe your call log. The CLIQ stores unlimited calls/texts, so using all that memory will definitely slow your cellphone down. I deleted all of mine and it works like new!!

Lately the OS has been very buggy, I'm feeling it all has to do with the expected March release of the 2.1 upgrade, it's going to blow every phone out of te water just like the Cliq did when it was released. Whether you do or don't use or need Blur this phone will rock your world, and until we get the Motoroi (XT720) it will stay that way.
