Well I'm from Trinidad and I've bought this phone over a week ago and I have to say that this phone is really cooll not experiencing the same problems as others have mentioned on this site the only problem for me is not being able to function the bluetooth and if anybody knows how to upgrade to os to 2.1 jus give me a holla

he dude if you upgrade to 2.1 from 1.5 your dext will work fine.
the dext will work faster and the b.tooth will actually work. check out the legit upgrade:

how is the phone workin on the custom rom? any problems like not accepting calls?...or any problems stated before that users are having? I considering getting one myself but if you say the 2.1 rom is as good as it gets, then i will surely get it..
was it hard to install a custom rom?

my dext has lost all its memory how do i reboot. The phone has not been wet and it is less than 6mths old and optus is refusing to cover it under warranty.
