looks pretty kewl however still i feel it will be a razr package with diff packing nothing new

"SIMON" i am quite agree with u.when one company introduce a new model and if it works,they deffinitely will come up with same design idea but a little change. thats how they work.

i think the whole mobile phone market is becoming tired,very rarely does a phone come out that has a different angle on the design or has something that really sets it apart from the rest.trouble is when one does appear that is quickly followed by a copy version by another manufacturer or endless variations of the same phone(samsungs black sliders,lg flips,s/e walkman phones,mottos razrs and nokias candy bars),every so often a gem will appear but they are getting few and far between and until then we have plenty more colours to be produced for the razr family.

quite amazing to read ur post.

They are still holding that no 2 position by producing more and more cheap phones. In the US most of them are free or $20-$50. People dont mind getting one or two when its so cheap. Both Nokia and Moto has to bring some Monochrome or 65CSTN cheap phones to keep their market share.

Thank God SE/samsung/LG are not folowing them.

well "simon", MOTO wont listen....just like how every american has 2 or 3 GM or ford in their garage, they will buy moto no mater what....that's how they ROCK.

5 years ago is a long time and where most people will say they buy nokia now is because it is a easy phone to use .so 5 years ago a nokia was hard to get around the menu,now it is much easier ,5 years ago motorolas where hard to get around but the difference now is they are still hard to get around they need to make their phones more user friendly and if you buy are smart phone you pretty well know what is expected of you to be able to use its functions but less is expected of your average handset which also motorola have not yet worked out.

This phone looks really cool. I can't wait until it's out. I don't care what anyone says. I like the blue, and I really like the fact that it's a GSM phone, since my relatives are form Ecuador.(country in South America)I also like that it has flash. I just wish it wasn't to skinny. O well.

This is not a Q forum, but just couldnt Help.

Moto Q is $199 with 2 years contract and that is CDMA, 1 year contract is $349.
The unlocked GSM version would be way more than $400 if Im not wrong...and yes price does matter. Thanks

Why are so many people complaining about Motorola phones not having every feature on the planet? If the RAZR had every feature known to mankind, it would cost $900 like the NOKIA highend phones and 50 million people could not afford them. The Q is another great example. Where can you get such a great smart thin phone for $199? Everyone tends to forget cost when comparing phones.

Motorola sold 50 m V3 not because of its look, also its feature indeed. How come 50 m people just love the looks & buy it? anyway...
i said it is smart phone @ looks & feature. I didnt compare with Pocket PC phone or what ever. @@ kal

For those who nvr use moto be4 of course find it's menu confusing.It's the same if someone nvr use SE will also find it's menu confusing.So there's no point arguing over user friendliness of a phone.It all depend whether u used it be4 or not.

Let me add one more thing.

Motoroll used to have "call" button on the right and "end" button on the left, just the opposite of what rest of the world was doing. They got it right with time.

Now its time for them to grow up and correct the rest. Do I need to say anymore!!

sounds like you havent used any other phones lately other than moto. Most common things that we use are burried deep inside its menu structure. have a look into some other phones please. Looks like you are living 5 years behind infact. Oh did you just called RAZR a "samrt phone"?? no comments.

50m RARZ didnt sale because of its features. ..it sold because of its look...every nany-grany has one now...its way too saturated market for any RAZR type phone to do any miracle now. Peace

If someone said V3 menu is difficult, i guess u better go back time about 5 years and use all those basic phone like Nokia 5110. That is perfect fro u. Also pls know that u shold have some brain at least to operate a smart phone. If u dont like i said go back time 5 yrs.Also some one said, V3 has poor features? what the hell.people still buy it and pls know 50 mill unit already sold.it is record indeed.
