On the display:
Well we MIGHT hope that the change from 256K colours to 65K is actually a change to a display that works all year... I use my v3 in the winter only, due to the HOPELESSLY bad display, complettely useless in direct sunshine.
Maybe they learned from Nokia and Samsung that there are people trying to use the phone also in the summer...
On yet another v3 clone:
Well it is 11mm less wide! (On the cost of 2mm in thickness and 5mm in length)
So by this its more a clone of Samsung E870

Oooh a new Motorola V3i variant with a clever vowel-deficiant title. OR CLVR in their own words. Who wants to bet they bring it out in a range of new and exiting colours 6 months down the line.
it just looks like an almost carbon copy of the V3i. Unless it's priced quite low I can't see it shifting much.
