This phone is for industrial propose. You will never see it in stores. Design is very smart and useful. -> totally agreed! and it's also a lot better than those functionless big radios!

This phone is for people who work construction and who work in places where constant phone abuse is scene, and there for will appeal to that market doesn't take a brain surgeon to see that a construction worker wouldn't mind a slightly indestructible phone that can use walkie talkie, and that can still keep track of the next house or project he or she will be doing, if thats what its for theres no need for any other features, it will see to people it is designed for

Smart, but ugly! I want to see a big, HTC Touch HD like design Motorola, with 3.5,or 3.8 inch screen, and with 5 Mp camera.

There are are two versions of this phone one has a TWO WAY RADIO with an external antenna and one doesn't.

I can't beleive people can be so thick.

The external antenna is for the two way radio or walkie talkie function.

No question about the durability of Motorola device, I accidentaly left my phone inside my pocket and run under washing machine. yet it still work. However, HTC device and model's specs really outweigths moto phones

Simple: Q11 + A3100 = MC55

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-03-10 13:54 from S4rkCall me naive, which phones from the 90's can read off UPC / barcodes or even RFID tags?

Or did RFID tags even exist back then?
